The fact is you don't even need camera's but just a sensor to detect the ball passing the line.
how would it tell its a ball and not the goalies hand? you could put a sensor in the ball but it's gonna be getting kicked around for 90 minutes so would probably break
The F1 today will likely have the results shuffled based on the stewards investigations - if F1 can do that post-race why cant they just allow that goal based on the camera footage?
