So i'm in a position where i'm going to be building a large new project and then managing the system side of it in the future.
However the other side of the software will be used by a separate team to create projects within it. As these projects can exist and run for years keeping track fo changes made to the system after initial deployment need to be tracked.
Nominally i'd use some sort of call tracking software, create a call for each project and get the guys to update the call with any changes they make to the package and why.
But i'm wondering if anyone has any experience with a piece of software/web app that would perform this function a bit more logically, or has a tool they use for said purpose already they can recommend.
Requirements -
Free, or super cheap
No platform limitations
Self host able is a plus
