Hi,

I wonder if any of you can help.
I've got a word document which contains a lot of web addresses. I need to check whether they are all valid, so I'm trying to get each one to open a new ie window when we control-click it.
I get the message: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".

We've tried disabling Norton Internet security, and turning off the pop-up blocker on IE. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jo

Hmmm here I go with my attempt to helping someone with Word.

Isn't it because the default directory for word to open things in is your hard drive(C:)?

I aren't sure how you would go about changing that.

I may be way off with this and I am sure someone else will be more helpful.
