Anyone else less than impressed by the performance benchmarks?

980 @ 1080p getting 49.2 fps average and a 970 getting 44.7 fps average.....
all my wut.

And that's with hairworks/HBAO off.

How can the shitbox gpu in consoles get 30fps and cards wayyyyy more poweful barely be showing more results? ( yes yes, limited draw distance, shittier textures, no aa, I know, still ).

Yet more hilarious is that a 960 is outperforming a 780.
Nvidia gameworks doesn't just shaft AMD users, it shafts nvidia users on one generation older cards LOL. The 780 should be dumping on the 960.

What the actual fuck? I was about to pre order this game before I read that. I'll wait until I see some more performance reports. Still not played 2 in any case.

That site I linked is dead on accurate for me fps wise, turned off hairworks and turned shadows to low, hitting 60fps ish now.

Btw game is great so far, really sets a high benchmark in terms of VO work, game work detail, breadth of content, etc.

At least an 8 or 9/10 for me, so far ( like ~3hrs in ), will prob only go up.

Well I don't have a recent card in SLI but with the latest drivers & SLI profile on my GTX 690 I'm getting a consistent 44-45 FPS @ 1440p with all settings on ultra (except shadows on low) which looks great and is more than playable. Even when I turn on Hairworks All that only drops to 38-44fps, I barely notice the fps drop and the visual improvement is marked. There's a load of settings that can be changed in the .ini files so I could probably get those figures even higher (reducing the AA on Hairworks for example)

I think it's safe to say a later generation card in SLI will perform even better

This seems more polished than those. Not had any crashes or anything yet

Im running hoghest on most setting at around 50 fps. Without hair ofc.

Thats on a 970m.

In steam it has a fps counter you can turn on. Setting > in game > turn fps on.

There isn't a benchmark, I was talking about general performance.

New patch out though, allegedly improves performance on pc. ( Literally came out an hour or so ago ).

What framerate were you getting. Sounds like a similar setup to mine.
