Guys,

Got a Win TV card (PCI) and installed. Everything seemed to go sweetly.

I installed the software that came with it (TVPro) and scanned for channels.

It found 6 channels (as it should) but the display area remained blank.

doesnt matter what I do - it remains blank.

Is there perhaps another piece of software out there that allows the TV Channel viewing?

Apparently its a Philips WDM Chipset, if that helps.

Correct cables and I think it might have something to do with the graphics card. Don't hold me to that.

I've had problems with every TV card I've ever tried to use - Avermedia used drivers written by Satan himself and to get the audio to work you had to dig around in ini files and manually change stuff.

Laz, did your card come with a loopback cable that runs the video-out from the graphics card through the tv card?

Your black screen sounds like a badly set overlay to me, you can also try to change coding format (BK etc), but it doesn't sound like an issue to me.

I am using LeadTek Winfast TV 2000XP Pro card and don't have slightest problems with any of it's features.
