win 7 dvd software

what would anyone suggest?

used powerDVD for ages on xp, worked out, been trying out windows media player but its annoying me

so before i cough up for anything, anyone got any thoughts ?

Still swear by Media Player Classic and VLC here

I used to use VLC a lot in the past when I was into my media PC (now defunct), it was really very good.

heh, I should have said... powerdvd for my blu-rays, mpc for all the rest. mpc with ffdshow has pretty decent upscaling for your regular dvd's...

For DVDs I just use Windows Media Player or VLC...
