Also... spirit cabs and body sorcs have the debuffs for albion... I could count how many lvl 50's of these classes I know on one hand.

You need some effort to make balanced caster groups, as i did with melee groups. You need to make contacts with the rights classes and people you will need to play with in the future. Or make friends of yours to make new alts with the needed classes

you can't make a *balanced* caster group... remember fad, alb casters do not compare to the chanters u find urself fighting every day =)

the best setup i can see is

body sorc - need 50% cold debuff and aoe root for when they purge mez
mind sorc - need aoe mez ofc
ice wiz - nukes n pbaoe
ice wiz - nukes n pbaoe
cleric - obv
cleric - obv
pala - end regen, slam
minst - speed, stuns etc ~~
friar - resists

woops need 9 ppl :/

all the classes there are necessary too. a 40/36 sorc wont cut it cos you need the highest debuff and the best aoe mez u can get vs determination.

also the casters will need to be high rr to stay alive to begin with (wiz will anyway) cos MoC + purge = 34 r skill pts.... thats before u get other important ones... raging power, mcl, maybe VP... and even then u have no passive and were talking rr6+ :/

body sorcs dont exist - i think i know two.... sauroon (rvr inactive), and maybe overmind?

even if u could get all these classes u still need 9 slots.

You dont need anyone to debuff for you, mid pb group rarely have a rune/darkcarver in group...rarely as in never

Pbuck seem to make it work back when he played prydwen, that group was harder then any alb group atm, was a more balanced group not pure tank or caster. And dont think mid groups have become harder , we got savages but lost berserkers, lost our instean interrupt which hurts me more then loosing berserkers.
Well same for old sotl group with walkie sami nuking us to hell.

And have you ever seen Sami on Theurgist or Walker on Wizard recently?

Most hib/mid groups should be running about with 42% fire resist, not very nice for a Wizard. Spirit resists vary a bit, but hibs/mids should still have anything from 26-50% resists.

Having 3 zerkers/savages on a caster results in one thing, death. If the caster does manage to hide in a nice spot, then the very weak damage due to the resists really makes it worthless.

tbh..PE > Pbuck :eek: I rather fight Pbuck than Fader and his tanks, wiff RvR gruppa i beat Pbuck more often than Fader. Ofc Walker still kicks my butt(if he would play still ofc)

Dropping the friar is probably the best idea Fadeh, I agree with you. The only reason I'd keep him - is that remember a caster group of fragile. With 2.5k hp's a tank can survive a lot of nukeage with capped magic resist/aom etc... but a caster with capped resists and aom2 still has much less hp's and can go down very quickly to enemy nukers if they dont have resists from friar to make up for it.

i suppose tho you hardly ever see enemy nukers about these days tho, so ur point is valid, i agree with u.

shame ill never get to implement this, since i restart college in 2 weeks and will be gone for good then :(

also what duane said was right - walker/pbuck/sami/solarflare and their gank squads were about a long time ago, before sc (well, pbuck still carried on for a while after that :p), but are all definitely all now gone now tank groups are the new fotm.

also glyph... remember that alb pbaoe is cold dmg, so enemies will have high 50%+ resists whereas the sm pbaoe is spirit .... rarely do most ppl bother to max it except rich b*stards :p and secondly they have aoe stun to help them, intercepting/interrupting pets and u have insta cc which bunches up unaware enemies and lets u use pbaoe offensively.

just stupid not to max all resists if you are making a sc suit.. so if you dont bother to max spirit its your fault

RvR was great fun tonight action all over :)

About what group was harder hmmm for us sure alot harder beating pbuck crew (Knudden best cleric ever seen) and we had same resist then as now, asap sc came out we got it.

we ported to emain with our guildgroup, killed 2fg mids (minor zerg), then got zerged by about 4fg mids (bigger zerg), then we went to odins.... :p

in midgard we killed 1fg mids, then went to the bk, and got zerged by about 3fg mids...

then we went to DF to pharm seals, in the end we went up with 4 people to mid side of df, we see one mid, and 3 seconds later 3fg zerg us... (blesjarus were you in DF with your cg? :rolleyes: )

Bloody hard maxing all resists along with skills and stats for an Infil, and probably a few other classess too. Yeah there is full mp suits and weapons plus a few select pieces of equipment needing 50+ ppl to obtain, but even then, you have to make a few cuts

i should have known it was you mannshaft even without reading your name, once again you prove how stupid you really are

my scout had no buffbot, it was my first REAL characther and i wanted to play a archer, and it was quite fun playing the lone 'hunter'
I was never interested in a infil, but i wanted to give it a shot at dual wield and i did, and i liked it (well for 300k rps then i was bored again)
I created my necro about a month ago (during the time necro's could abuse the wallbug i wasnt even playing daoc anymore :p )
When i started my current guild me and the 3 other GM's decided what classes we should play, and i chose minstrel (every group needs one, something wrong with it?)
And a buffbot, yes i have one, at least i dont keep it secret like some people do, you are even too chicken to post your ingame names here...

At least my flaming has a certain truth in it, while your flames' only purpose is to insult me, which is obviously not working, because you are very bad at it :p

but please go ahead, its funny :D

mids zerging in emain! :D whit 2fg!.
well, maybe from alb view that is zerg.

why albs try call us the zerg when they self move around whit 4fg?
mids most time 1fg and against alb zerg gather bigger force.
have seen enough in different pk:s when we try make up 1fg and roam around that 1fg, only running time after time some alb zerg whit ~30 peep.
