Confused Why?

Does my new graphics card get a lower Aero rating than the old one? The daughter somehow managed to make my old Sapphire HD 2600 Pro 512mb stop working. So I bought an XFX HD 6450 512mb. According to the AMD website specs it's better than the 2600 but while the old one got a rating of 5.0 this one gets a rating of 3.1.

Confuzzled now.

Run that, check the bus speed is correct. Do the usual, purge all ATI drivers reboot. Install new drivers, reboot rerun test.

Nice app. Cheers. COuld be because the 6450 is PCI-E 2.1 whereas the bus is 1.1?

Potentially, would be slowing itself down to talk to the bus at the right speed which may cripple it

New mobo time! New cpu while your at it! Ram etc
