and from what 'everyone' thats playing/played SWG is saying, its supposed to be hiddeous.... which is a real shame, i would have played it at sum point..

apparently theres not even spawn points of mobs, they just pop randomly as ur running along, how cack is that? they've concentrated too much on graphics and left out the gameplay and content. which is weird, coz eq is the opposite lol. and eq r0x

And yeah karam, the idea of random popping mobs was to eliminate the camping of all the good spots.... which was actually a good idea, but it really makes the world feel LAME.

SOE have admitted that their current servers will not be able to cope with the massive surge of players in the week of release. Apparantly 500,000 have preordered, 300,000 is probably a more realistic figure. Either way, it's unlikely.

the servers are fairly stable with 3000 ppl on them, they have planned for about 8-9 servers i think ? read the names someplace.

this means each server will have 10 times the number of people it can handle trying to log onto it....

i think i'll leave swg till the space combat add on comes out (then get a space ship which is apparently skill based combat, and forget about the crappy moorpg bit)
