We have free spam in lod alliance indeed and i wouldt have it any other way. However we dont have small kids spamming away with annoying stuff. This could be however that from what i know most members from the guilds that are in our alliance are on the mature side and belong to the somewhat older population. So its a free speech within reason.
This has advantages to the agree that strong friendships bonds merge going further than inter gm or officer stuff.
Its not that its all free spam anyway, but i just feel its peoples own responsability on how and when to spam. Experience has shown that the banter fades when something important is going on anyway and people still filter the important stuff out. this however is also possible cos we dont have that many guilds in as.
When in my view it does get to much i usually talk to the person in question, but havent encountered a real big thing yet.
I do see advantages on less alliances however, maybe organised along the lines of free as speech versus nonfree speech, but it all comes down to balance imo.

Albion doesnt have any working Alliance becase you are underpowered and have gimped classes in RvR.

I Have a remark about the upcoming keepdefending in NF, There is an old idea that I think is well worth considering.

Guilds(or alliances) should all have a keep designated to them, it is then their job to defend, retake that keep as soon as possible.
