Funny, isnt it? ;)

Why is it only Albion, saying that Albion is hard mode?
And why is it only Midgard on pryd, saying that Midgard is hard mode?
And why is it, that on MLF, people thinks Hibernia is "easy mode"?

Probably just a coincidence..

So tell me then, what was the excuse a couple of patches ago when middies were getting owned by hibs, was it a skill issue, did The Dummies guide to Midgard pay off?

Um, I think you forgot to mention the part where all casters have basically been made redundant by SC, resists & certain RA's, I consider that a huge nerf.

Pray tell me what realm you played on MLF?

yeah yeah, it's amazing how many middies dissappeared to other servers & realms soon as they were getting owned. I think it was more a case of getting their asses kicked and leaving, as opposed to leaving and then getting their asses kicked.

Albion isn't hard mode, it's a good realm just hard to put groups together due to needing more classes than mid/hib have(yes i have played all 3 realms for a while)

If you read more precisely, i said Albion MLF :)

Yes, those things surely affected casters. But did NP stopped playing caster-group WHEN those changes arrived? No, because they were already in the game. It seemed to me like your point was us moving from prydwen due to SC'ing and resists, or did you mean why the NP castergroups on Excalibur stopped playing due to the nerf?

It's pretty simple, you all already know that we are trying to play RvR as highly efficient as possible, thus fotm, and that didnt work in midgard. Hence why so many ppl rolled zerks, and by the time NP went pryd, zerkers were way more powerful than savages are now. And at THAT time, zerk/tankgroups were the real fotm - a hibernian castergroup were not.

All im saying that i think albion could perform much better in RvR than the current guilds of Albion Excalibur is doing at this moment.

And I am saying that performance in RvR is directly related to group setups, currently mid have the upperhand, it has nothing to do with skill. If equally skilled groups from hib & mid met, mid would win the majority of the time because right now they have they have classes that can create dramatically overpowered groups. I am fairly sure that it will change again in future, when it does, I wonder if people will think it's a skillz again.

maybe cause alb already is overpopulated etc? And hardly a gimped realm.

Albion on Excal, or are you talking about MLF?

Yes, Albion on Excal. But i left due to extremely slow patching, it's much faster nowadays. U can see my good bye-post somewhere :) think i left late spring 2002, not the same bw-account though.

So you left Albion on Excal, and went to MLF, then came back to Excal and rolled in Mid?

Yes they would, since hibs best group is casterbased - and by that also depended on RA-timers(mostly moc). So yes, they mids would win the majority of their fights vs hibs, same goes vs albs. Regarding hibs vs albs, best setups (castergroup - meleegroup), albs would win more due to the less need of RA's vs castergroups.

My opinion

No, hibernia - then mid. I wanted to try all realms, mid is very dull to do regular exp in :< grey realm

I was mezzed once for even longer by a sorc! the reason JH didnt go alb was mainly cause its overpopulated and also we wanna fight PE and Mids.

Do like Sycho does on Prydwen, make groups and wtfpwn..
Think some people have to learn something from him as he clearly understands that albion isn't hard mode.
It has something to do with playstyle etc.

Wouldnt a group consisting of:

1 Paladin
3 Mercenaries
2 Clerics
1 Minstrel
1 Sorcerer

be quite good?
