Section 44 was an obviously facist piece of legislation designed, by our government, to fuck the UK population over. It was widely being used as such. It no longer is.

It was a bad law any way you put it. Introducing it anyway despite knowing it was a bad law, I'd say is getting pretty close to screwing the public over intentionally.

I'm stopping short of saying it was deliberate (I actually said humans are naturally facist in nature) - but it's as close as it can be.

I said during their use that it was a terribly facist thing (it is).
I supported the ECHR which has struck the law down as illegal because of this.

Now I'm saying "look - I told you so" - and yet, somehow, throughout the entire thing, I'm apparently wrong, not the people who actually are...

I did have an issue with your statement that a law was passed solely to piss off the public.

That the law was going to piss people off is irrelevant, it is not why it was introduced.
