Full respect for you going into the army and wish you best of luck with telling folks mate.Laddey said:tbh, i have to jog every other day. I wake up thinking to myself, zomg jogging again? but what actually gets me out of bed, getting dressed etc is the benefit of what i'm doing. I'll come out alot better if i jog, i cba been the cock at the back of the squad holding everybody up. (private pile for those who've seen Full Metal Jacket) Also music motivates me alot
I spent 5 years in cadets and sadly just one year in main army before quitting.
Was in Duke of Wellingtons and my mum was so proud, but in a way I was too young and could'nt take the dicapline.
Hope you succeed old pal and your mum takes it, if it's any consulation you will never feel fitter in your life once you camp at strensel in York or Leek, I used to to think it was shite but now I got older I realise it was what I shoulda done and stayed, and if you driving you are kinda set for life in a free way with hgv and adr, try got cohsh too
sorry for misspellings btw, feel a bit emotional that my mum will never see me in uniform with an SA80 ever again as it was years ago
