Sorcerors are gonna be hit hard with the bat. Anyone who has played this game for a while and truly thinks otherwise is delusional.

The question is when, not if. I seriously doubt the nerf will hit without countering it with boosts to other Alb classes. My guess is that it will come with the first catas patch, along with melee changes.

Sorcs very very strong 1on1 against melee types, but same sorc not better than a healer or barde in fg rvr if you look at the big picture. LT in no way
better in fg's than say healing or end.

Nah it isnt the debuff nuke that makes cabbies overpowered, its the fact that they have such good secondary lines if they spec right, nearsight, disease, and to add on top of this, the debuff nuke isnt a nuke its a lifetap, and a fully biffed hasted pet pretty much fucks up anyone its on cus u cant even MOC thru it as the stun has no immunity timer.

Please remember you can test all you want on Gorre...a server were 90% of the people playing don't have capped resists etc...no one is higher than RR6....

Of course if you spec high damage you will kill fast and easy....it will be the same on excal...but won't be that fast also...


Difference between maxed resists and having 2-10% is something to remember when posting you killed fg solo as a sorc...


Dunno how it will be when we get NF...probbaly a lot will spec this...and we will have QQ about sorc being a good solo char...but remember the Bonedancer that can lifetap at the same rate...and getting healed (talking 1 vs 1 here)...lets talk about the animist that can put a whole field of shrooms...and just nuke away when some melee char tries to kill him...

Most classes are good 1 vs 1 when played by someone that knows the class....knows what he can...and what he shouldn't attack etc...

Midg main mezzer has chain ..hibbie main mezzer has studded ..and alb main mezzer wich is sorc has cloth the most crapy outfit so they gave him a litle help with the free RR5 RA ..CAUSE HE DIES DAMN FAST on an melee assist if not bodyguarded or so.. but hey u r hibs n mids u dunno about that .. or u do but u dont want to accept it .. my advice is. .. deal with it ..like we all did with ur overpowered classes .

I agree chainstunning pet is abit overpowered, but it is a pet, and its very easy CCable (atleast pre- cabby rr5 RA). You can get blue nearsight as best without loosing dmg, not many go beyond 25 matter, and yeah you get aoe disease, a blue one most of the times with just 28 body spec.
Light elds get higher dmg, aoe dex/qui debuff, aoe mez, AND purple nearsight, not to mention the famous baseline stun
Maybe both classes are overpowered then, but I surely dont see the cabalist any better than the other nuker.

Strange, since sorchs are so weak and feeble class, how come 30% of Alb/excal population is sorchs + their BB.. Ppl that pick Albion must be really searching for an challenge.
Or maybe Im right when I say its the most powerful caster (with MoC, SoI and purge its the best tank too) in game. Its the easiest class Ive played.

True, but melee assist-trains dies in NF. Unless Excal become a freak server with Emain-like conditions.. which I doubt tbh. To make the class invincible for half a min is beeing to kind anyway imo. 4 tanks v 1 sorch and the 4 tanks should win.

and SM got their op pet . aslong as pet intercepts melee attacks they can nuke

In practice the runemaster evades fuck all; since its cut in half by dualwielding (yes, also for this RA) and it still measures the difference in WS.

So the runie with 700 WS gonna go up against the merc with 2100 WS dualwielding; u know what will happen

Not to mention he cant evade when he's stunned after he fired the RA

Difference is - sorc mocs and lifetaps all attackers to death.
Runie mocs nukes 3-4 times for 400 tops and dies ^^

Sorry to rain on your parade, but SOI lasts 20 seconds. So hey you get 20 seconds every 15 minutes where you can nuke for 75% of your damage so how much damage do you actually think you can do per nuke against good resists? If you are thinking in the 400+ mark then sorry you're dreaming m8.
Plus you'll need purge up to avoid being stunned/mezzed which tbh anybody with any sense will do when they see you MOC.

I'm not saying it's not a nice ability, it really is, but if you think it's god mode then you're in for a big wakeup call - p.s. It doesn't help you from being castable stunned and 3 shotted by a hib caster anyways
