Having someone to share your life and experiences is a wonderful thing it really is. The good times and bad times are all better of being shared, finding someone that you can do his with is worth the search. Yes you might have a few bad ones first but its all part of gaining experience.

But yeah, all of the above is the usual way(except for whole life of solo humping being a taken choice), and to me, it's "flow and go, see what comes". Not many relationships around nowadays (long term) where the two people in them have only shared each other. You need to have ups and downs with people before understanding what is required in a relationship.

People date each other for years, move in together then split after a few months because they cannot bear to be around each other 24/7. you only gain this knowledge by taking part in relationships.

Taking part in sexual/non sexual activities with opposite sex/same sex depending on which way you swing is a great experience. yes people will say sex is just sex. But when you find someone who you connect with it can be one the most amazing experiences ever, I am not talking about having sex 5 times a day and trying to be some sort of legend (while this is fun also). But the time when everything feels so right, the slightest touch sends shiver running around your body.

You do not get this from a one night stand, what you do get is an understanding of the primal desire to have sex. Some people think its shallow as hell, some of the best and fun sex I have had has been with random chicks who only know my name because I picked them up from the airport and tried to sell them a bar crawl What did I learn from it about women? not a lot other than sometimes two people just need each other to scratch that itch.
