Born in 83 so have never seen the best of the Charltons Best Pele ect but i have seen some Maradona so i will say him.
But the best player i have seen in the flesh is Henry.

Aye forgot about gazza tbh. I have no doubt at all in my mind, if he hadnt injured himself and stayed off the Kebabs and ale he wouldof been one of, if not the greatest football ever. His footballing ability ranked up there with Maradona and Pele

Where's the option for Dion Dublin?

Its the best footballer ever poll, not "which footballer has the biggest nob"!

Lol cant believe the sun ran that story to be honest. They even printed "one team mate said he was built like a horse"

Ok, I'm from Norway, but even here we are aware that if any newspaper in the world would print such a story, 't would be The Sun tbh :p

I voted for Ronaldinho, but I think he´s on par with Maradonna.

However, I also think that Zidane at least deserved a spot in the poll options. :)

Thats why I put "other". I did some research about who players/managers past and present thought were the best ever and Zidane didnt even feature anywhere so thats why I left him out. But tbh id have to disagree with them as I think he was fantastic. That goal he scored in the champions league for Real.../drools

Maradona

No one is even close to him

Not even Pele

How many people who voted for Pele actually saw him play ?

The skills of the players back in the times of Pele and Maradona cant be compared to today's.

So Henry, or Ronaldinho tbh.

While it´s true that football made some pretty drastical steps in terms of speed and tactics, I still think it´s legal to compare the individual players, based on their skill in relation to the other players of the gived period. They all have achieved quite a lot with inferior training methods and material and it takes skill and patience to be "the best".

Ronaldinho .. He is the next Maradonna. They both play(ed) for Barca, Ronaldinho is Maradona's love child :p (with a horse ofc with them teeth lol)

Having only seen the Maradonna clip that Marc posted and hundreds of Ronaldinho matches ... i still say Ronaldinho but only bcos i havent seen maradonna footage.

Cant compare Maradonas skils to Ronaldinho?

k then, maradona was doing it all when Ronaldinho was a ballet dancer

Allright, you can compare Maradona's skills to today's footballers.

But the fact remains that he wouldnt been able to dribble past 50% of the guys today, like he did back then. he had amazing speed, technique, and would deffo be up there today.

It's like showing some RR8 SB wtfowning RR1-2's, back when RR8 was big.

Put him up with today's RR7-10's it will be a different ballgame.

Cool clip btw.

Found some more good ones on that site aswell.
