For starters wardens dont gain any DEX at levelling, so its not a 'high DEX' class. Wardens might be tough nowadays, but it all depends on the class you play. And a thane isnt thát weak against a warden IMO.

your chance to hit with slam is based of your shield ws not anything else.

i dont think i said it wasn't based on shield WS...
dex does not increase your "hidden" shield WS, i have near 350 dex (think its 348) and still dont slam any more than i did before i went high dex, the only thing that effects slam is your shield skill, unless someone can provide some test results, cba myself

How would a Friar do vs a warden provided he has a 3.3 Spd staff or such, Haste would destroy PBT , tho speccin shield puts us a lil disadvantage but they dont have uber dex.. And considering wardens wanky melee dmg , surely wed prolly both be there for hours ??

The only thing about dex they condlude is that it raises your shield damage which I can nothing but agree on.

We suck against wardens end of....i've tried everything and a warden 4 RR's below me will still win....Fast staff + haste is the best thing we can do but wardens will block a ton of blows and PBT the others..whilst traitors daggering our end / power away using BM styles before we can BM style on them...Fights last ages but friar will lose eventually in most cases despite having much higher dmg and usually weaponskill.

Reason friars aint been mentioned is not many solo these days...and no high RR friars play anymore....although we beat most tanks that go 2 handed against us we'll lose to most tanks that have high shield unless we strafe!

Im not complaining we're totally OP against some classes (Hi2u Censi) I could prolly sit down and a melee ranger wouldnt be able to kill me due to heal procs versus dps.

Thanes don't gain dex either at leveling, and Celts do at least have more dex then any thane-race

Weak and weak... Not as weak as some classes maybe but still, have easier time killing a skilled rr8 BM than a skilled rr4 Warden.

The only guy I haven't killed is Nightsend. Got him to 5-10% a few times :/

Everyone else I've killed, hardest people I encounter a lot of the time are Faiotan, Lick, Temples where I don't win many, even with Remedy and PH up

And then a RR3 Vamp comes and destroys me ^^.

I think I will make a new template in 1.85 and see if I can turn my kobbie into super-kobbie :>

Just thought id say hi to everyone as i quit playing about 4 months ago
After 4 yrs of playing and making alot of friends in my own realm and with alot of the enemy realm players, i finally had to call it a day!

Was a shame to quit when i did as i only just finished my scout and armsman templates but i had reached the peak of my charaters and the game was dieing for me anyway.

When i was playing, i would say the hardest fights for me were with Jamiesmallicus!
There were alot of hard players who would beat me easily but when i had my toys up, Jamie was still unbeatable for my wee scout"!

Anyway i hope you guys are all still having as much fun playing as i used too!

All the best and ill pop back in a couple of months and just say hi again and see what else is occuring!

First time i was in a grp in DF and me as speedclass obviously ran first
So i go around the corner and bump into a rock called Kagato.
He hitted me 3 times, parry'd all my swings and there I was dead, before my grp even came around the corner..

Quite embarassing tbh.

Since then, never really beated him i think 1vs1.

Skald vs shield tank is no-no anyway.

Hugmeh, Cylian, Illusb, Guindor...i have utmost respect for these 4.

Im suprised that none have mentioned Cylian as overall in RvR i would say that the Sillyone is the toughest sb i ever fought. Always seems to know how to play to the best of his ability in any situ.

Would be nice though to be able to go into a zone where you can only use the passive/realm abilities you are blessed with and no Charges...Like classic for example.
