A friend of mine introduced the beta to me and just when i got hooked he ran away

Slacker for now, prolly a student again in a year.

I choosed excalibur because there was more people there and hibernia because it was the first realm i explored (i liked it most aswell). My first char during beta was a BM called Kreggur which reached lvl13 (he was specced like: 13 CD, 11 parry, 4 blades) . The last character in beta aswell as the first in the release was a bard (in beta called Treagh and in the release i changed it to Trahg). I choosed to play it just because they had that fancy speed-song.

Was told about the game at the start of closed beta by a mate. Played around a bit at his house, then did beta myself.

Ex journalist now working at a large multi-national supermarket

First char was an Avalonian sorc in Albion. Then in retail I played a Highlander Cleric.
Moved to Mid/Excal about three months into retail where I have my lovely Kobbie Shammie.

Why are you here?

Used to play Diabo 2 a lot, but then my RL friend told me about some of his clan mates who had bought DAoC and how much better it was. He got it, I made a void eld and needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night Got a bard to around 12 in beta with some other danish folks I met, decided to form a guild in retail but we ended up splitting up soon after Clueless about MMORPG's as I still was at that point, I gave it another shot, turned out to be very different but I sure as heck don't regret it today

Moved to U.S. later which I sometimes regret, much better community here but just couldn't put up with G.O.A. and the fact that my RL mate played U.S.

So, I guess I just troll here atm.

Student, on holidays atm. but going back on the 11th of August.

Why did you pick your first ever class/character/realm?

I picked a bard in beta and liked him so much I decided to roll one in retail as well, never got further than 30'ish though. Picked realm 'cause of folks I met in beta.

Long standing MMORPG player (UO,EQ,AC etc) - came here on day one and since then have persuaded loads of friends to join me I find it's a cool way to keep in touch with old friends.

Went Sorcerer intially because I like magic and Sorc sounded more mysterious than Wizard (& Merlin was a Sorcerer according to the game - lol)

Im here beacuse I had some friends from diablo start the game in Hibernia so I decided to join them.

Rolled my blademaster, Karlophin as my first ever character, took me 38 days to hit 50, back in the times before there were such things as Realm Abilities and Battlegrounds. Always thought blademaster would be fun, wanted a zerker but cause mates had rolled hib I came here, thought bm would be as good.. opps..

Eventually moved to alb and created Black Legion with polly and leorin, all fun etc.

Im a 21 year old student.

Cousin got me into it tho as he was playing from closed beta, joined at realease a couple of weeks after my bf as i suddenly found myself virtually single.

First char is my Theurg, had to roll on excal/alb since thats where everyone else was. Picked the theurg cuz i knew i didnt want a wizard but still wanted the damage and the idea of pet spamming seemed fun

Im a saddo analyst programmer by day and a stalker at night

First ever character was obli the void eld, chose him because i heard that void was really powerful and the last game i was in mages actually went hand to hand which sucked
