Hmmm... tricky list. There's been lots and lots of enemies I've respected over the years, including many names no one will recognise. To get respect, you don't have to win - you just have to put up a good fight and keep coming back. So Yaruar would be one, for example, because he never seemed to give up - I remember him trebbing for dear life on some relic raid. Gear, too - no matter how many times you kill him, he always seems to keep coming back until he gets you. There's lots and lots of players in all realms who play the game for fun, don't give up, and have the right attitude to it all.

Now respected AND feared... that's a different matter. The kind of names that you'd see the killspam incoming and go "Uh oh...". Which, given my predeliction for charging in first and realising who I'm fighting afterwards, takes some doing.

So, in no particular order:

Zoia: I went through a stage when my mincer had just hit 50 of running into Zoia everytime I was soloing in OF Alb frontiers. And I won the fight precisely.... zero times. It was a long time ago, but even now those fights make me grin. And wince.

Domain: I once killed Domain, when I was a recently-dinged RR2 mincer and he was RR10, solo. I suspect that every RA was down and/or he was laughing so hard because this little cretin had jumped him that he forgot to press some buttons. I learned over the next year or so not to try it again.

Ardamel: The only Mid capable of making Alb alliances instantly mobilize when you hear he's in your frontier. Plans good relic raids. Respect earned, over and over again.

dunno but i always feared garba, remember a fight when i took him down to 10%, i got rooted and he stopped running, turned around and nuked me down in 1 sec, was pretty insane Since then i never touched him again.

they were very strong and very good at killing zergs and very good at calling for help and adding.

BaF were the best hib group ever imo, superb teamwork, fought clean, used their class abilities to the max and supreme assist. the only the only thing that let them down was the low rr's and some of their char racial choices.

Oh - Well , people can be considered legends for many things, but at least here i will set everyone or at least the ones i considered more relevants in this server . Legends doesnt mean who has more rps and blabla, legends mean people who has meant something in this server and his presence has been very relevant to all us.

Of Hibernia..

Tyka , Qte , Garbannoch , Bitteliten , Popov. All those ones into the casters have represented . Qte probably most legendary one , Tyka became be the example for every caster in playing terms , we all know his acttitude sometimes was crap . Garba , what can i say about him what i havent said yet. Bitte , the person who invented the daoc that you all play now . And Popov (at least the one who played with me in Llaw Arian ) , together with Tyka as this time , around patches 1.40 - 160 , both the excalibur killer machines.

Miss,Infernos,Terminus,Ola,Sheph,Medikto,Thanatlos,Walker ,Fiontan into the support area , they all in their differents times has reprented the example for their classes, actittude and stuff .. In first case has to name Terminus , because he is really the first and most legendary one of all them... because he was the first relevant support , he was the first in use the correct druiding way. To continue , Thanatlos , Infernos , Miss and Medikto meant the firsts weave of real good supports into our realm, each of them in their differents classes. And like everyone know , game continued his developing till it found Teh support pack Walker-Ola-Fiontan-Sheph. Apart from this has to make special mention into the Walker step , for really being the best player ever has played into Excalibur ( awww Xana sorry, i know now your ego has received a very big impact ).

Novamir ,Talivar, Lofff , Darkexec , Wuren , Tankster , Tusk , Stormriderx ,Eleasias into the tanks area , Well Novamir and Eleasias, the pure hibernians legends.. time hasnt passed for them or versions , nova will be always remembered for actittude, playing, such nice person everything ... Lofff , Wuren , Tankster,Darkexec represented the tanks for escelence of the period , half and ending of the daoc classic and during si period till 1.60 or so. Game continued developing and growing till finally found Tusk and Stormriderx .



Of Midgar... ( has to say midgar mostly influenced by Nolby Pride guild , same as all the server has been by them )

Xanathea , Eiaals , Medde , Stubbe , Halsbrann , Endineit ...Ofc has to name Xanathea in first case for being probably most relevant player of midgar .. he has had influence in all periods , for his playing , his ego , BW posts,for being the engine-motor of the best daoc guild in server and probably in world , his usual bs comments at #celticfist channel etc.. but really a such great player. I have funny remember of Eiaals .Game went developing few a few (jaja) till it found the support pack at the end of si days with Xana-Medde-Stubbe-Endi .


Kallistor , Venomski .. Kallistor was first Excalibur rr11 , when maybe of us were still having breakfast .

Jawz , Sub , Zzang , Soruzi ,Wrathofsauron ,Mumin, Fatbelly... in first case have to name Jawz for such being Teh Guardian xDD . Jawz , Sub , Wrathofsauron domained ( wow for end i could use my nick for something ) the earlie days in the tanks area , stuff continued with Soruzi , tbh the most versatile player on server , and midgar finally found his maximun exponent into Zzang and Mumin, during end of si and whole toa days.Fatbelly receives also special reward , old timer and also relevant in all periods .

Of Albion...

Outlaw,Zoyster,Strondor,Veesham , Dreams ,Grymulv ... As maximun example, we all have to recognice, it's the brothers Outlaw and Zoyster , both are the ones who have lead the zerg from day 1 when Hatts killed Outlaw at amg till Nf first days. about the others the maximum examples at their currents classes.


Pitonisa , Noret , Therg ...


Gunner , Konah , Quicksilver , Farek , Aussie , Alpha , Ialkarn into the meleers area . Both most famouse without any discussion Aussie and Alpha , aussie also for his bsing everywhere xD , and the others represent the maximum exponent at their classes.

legend to me means people i aspired to be, or aspired to beat. therefore i could write all the players i most respect and like playing with like dom did, but i dont think thats a legend (to me!)
My legends would have to be:

hib:
Cuthervaen - always levelled above me! curse his black heart. a great friend and hibernian legend :>
Wuren - though he wasnt too great a tank in rvr (he was just the only firb and had the max str/low qui bonus when frontloading and was first with 50 spear when others were lower) wuren couldnt assist and his target picking wasnt great but i always envied his dmg and h00g spear
Matinex/Tyka/etc - his combative nature can grate with people, but he's ok really. Excellent organiser of people and probably the first UBER hib rvr group on the server was from the youngest Vengeance guild with Memeerf etc (the LA group with Tankster etc was not, imo)
Miss - overtook me to 50 from nowhere, odd guy at first (was played by 2 people?), and turned out to be an awesome and true guy, and a fantastic and driven bard. LA would be nothing without miss.
Balnor/Hothnogg - original Hib Legendary rangers. they owned emain in beta!
Lanvar - Uber Tank Warden - first excellent RvR warden. I wished he had never quit.

(if i was giving respects to awesome player+friends id have to name people like Garba,Dom,Fio,Harle,Calaw,Loff,Angara and go on and on more so ill stop)

well, some NP players always been 'legendary' - as mid they have always had the upper hand in terms of CC from day one (no balance debate pls- 3 healer/1 sham vs. 1bard/1nat druid counts a lot for CC) - but id name:
Tina/Ronja/Teza/Woody/Grond at start + others i forget
Xanatea (and hunter Nolbypride) in various instances

Kallistor (can remember killing him only a couple times ever)
