Hibs have had baseline stun since the begining of time, why is everyone whining about it now and not 3 years ago :< ?

Cos in dark age of tankalot it was completely fuckin useless and any hib caster with a brain woulda rather had a baseline root like all the other casters. Nowadays all the fotm sorcs whine about it cos it stops them moc lifetapping everthing.

Maybe they should take the ammount of people who activly RvR and compare them, seeing as the bonus's are mostly effective in RvR... no?

They've already said this is a bad idea because people like yourself would cry on forums not RvRing, then suddenly get a pop bonus and go "oooh, time to RvR". The realms you "pw0n" would them come to the forums and cry letting their underpop bonus creep up and up untill they get the biggest bonus then they'd go "oooh, time to RvR".. etc, etc, etc.


Overall population may not be the fairest way of doing it, but its the fairest way of doing it.

If you had tried to kill us 5 1st..youd have had a much better chance than killing lord 1st as you did. All it would have took was for one of your zerg to get a TWF or ST up & our bainshee wudda been f00ked!.. at most he will have had purge1..if it was up (5 sec delay) more than enough time for your zerg to come up & "pwn" I had to lol irl when you guys got ported though.. most of you jus stood there like lemmings & it looked like hardly any of you had a clue what had just happened when you got ported....surely you did realise taking a claimed tower/keep ports you to roof ?

& yes..ofc, next time when we're just 5 randoms, we will rush your zerg & the 101 stealthers that will pop just as we rush...i mean sure..albs would rush a hib zerg with 5 randoms ...oh hang on a sec..no they wont..we got shrooms/baseline stun /nerf!

That hardly involves any skill at all, it's a broke game mechanic. You achieved nothing killing some DI-less PUGs with the broken shit you have for keep defense. And you didn't let us retake it, we would have killed you all with a bit more range I guess. You couldn't face a direct confrontation, that's why you went to a roof and pulled that stunt out. I wish there would be some trees on keep roofs for you hibs...

About the pop numbers, I may be wrong but I think the Roll of Honour are either an average of few weeks or just delayed ... the scaring numbers we were seeing last week looked like pre catacombs, no way we could have so few around when at peak time we have the higher pop since WoW.

If you had read the post I replied to and read on you would have seen the sorc wasnt even grouped with a healing-class (!!!). WTF is he expecting then? 'I got lafjtap so I dont need healing lets keep all RPS for myselves xD' ?

I didnt say DI compensates for baseline-stun; but the poster I replied to said that DI would probably been enough to survive. I wasnt there; but if he thinks DI would been enough then why not group with a DI-cleric? oO Just plaing stupidity if you know the solution but you dont use it; dont you think?

If you look at the general scheme what the Alb(s) post you notice they wherent organized in any way and therefore got 'owned' by a small set of Hibs who where organized. Is baseline-stun therefore the winning-factor or is it a total lack of organisation from the Alb-side? Bingo.

Stop the baseline-stun whine; its something each realm has; omg im gonna QQ all day about 'baseline-stun on clerics and healers and druids dont have it!!1'. If you wanna rate something OP its prolly AE-stun; especially on keepfights who end up at the roof. Combine AE-stun with 2 classes who have PBAE (SM DD331, WL DD325) and it has a way higher impact on roof-fights then 'baseline stun on hib casters'.

Just for the Albs and Mids who might loose with their OP-classes: Blame the baseline-stun! Contrary to insta-2K-3K damage dealt to you - you can purge baseline-stun. If you think baseline-stun is such a big deal get Purge3.

I was ported to there, luckily at the edge of the platform, mezzed, saw albs dying all over the place, put MoC up and tried to interrupt more.

I died in 3-4 seconds.

I bet you would even see Mythic porting the whole Albion into some PBAoE as a tactic and say it was our mistake, cause we didn't kill the PBAoE users before. Hell, you would even see Mythic giving you the I-win-button as a tactic, because we failed to do kill the I-win-button before he kills us (see Warlock discussion).

The damage output your random group had was just so hilarious, to take on against you on the roof, we would have needed some DI-puffer in order to survive in that porting-shroomer-lag. Even if we wanted to go up w/o killing the lord, the outcome would be pretty much the same I guess. But we can't be arsed to make perfect groups in order to beat a broken game mechanic. Especially not that late at night, where not all classes/RRs are available.

The teleport to the roof is just plain stupid, nothing else.

And you maybe want to use a dictionary (http://www.urbandictionary.com) and check "skill" and "pwn". It wasn't the Albs coming to FH and saying we owned. It's not me saying we did everything we could and still lost.

I agree the roof porting thing is a messed up feature, but either way you would of had to flush us out of the keep somehow... For some reason you chose the roof porting option making your life a damn sight harder. Perhaps it was just a lack of communication? I know when a zerg see's a target (lord in this case) its hard to hold them back.

I'm curious as to why you think we "would all suck in an open field"? You don't know us... I'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks that sounds like pure bitterness. We certainly would suck if we chose to face you in open field, but that was never going to happen.

And i'm not sure why you think DI would of been such a great help, in a group of 8 where you were all taking damage at once you'd of got 350hp in heals each at best which wouldn't of made a difference.

And you did get the damn keep back. It should be level 8+ or so by now, again. It was a pretty fun night of RvR, imo. Think that can be said by both parts (as well as for the mids, who we fought at Behn, at the same time as we tried to hold the albs out of Eras. Unfortunately we didnt have people online to defend both, so we focused on Behn after we died at Eras after the 2nd charge )

Yeah, yeah, hibs had to run afk to emain for 3 years - without shoes, in 10feet snow and it was 30 km's while carrying 20pounds of pure rocks - while BO and other opted groups farmed them halfway. I guess that should have taught the hibs the mechanics that makes Mids stay at Brynja.

You are right, Albs tend to super-PvE the lord even in a tower. They like to zerg him with 60 people on a keep raid only to have some Hibs to come behind them through the open door... :O.
