Which realm do u consider beeing the hardest to fight?

I fear noone, but the way mids kill is frustrating sometimes. When an alb killed me he had luck or it took him ages. Mids on the other hand piss on my BT and zerkers/warriors cut me down in 4 hits within 5 seconds. And as there is no protection against casters they are a pain in the ass too

It depends where you meet them. In emain groups of Hibs are horrible because they always arrive with a nicely balanced group, whilst you sometimes get to beat up a few Mids who happened to wander out alone.

But when I've gone enemy hunting in DF I find Hibs alot easier to kill because they are not in balanced groups and seem to be a bit wimpier than the Mids.

I also seem to get regularly chain stunned against Mids, I don't mind mezz cos at least a nuke hits and I can move again but stun nuke x 3 ain't nice

Oh and I have to agree if I'm fighting Hibs I know to wallop the luris and the Elves mostly plus any firby with an instrument but when I meet Mids I have no idea who to wallop til the little blue balls appear on the ends of their fingers

Hib=some good players. The most important character in any group is the bard. If your bard knows what he is doing you will generally win against equal numbers.... Its been said many times, but it is all about who mezzes who first... When our bards get insta AOE mezz, you will really notice a change...

Mid=some gr8 players. Mid generally seem to have about the same amount of active RVR'ers as Hib. The only difference is that they all seem to be level 50, whereas hib has to many players around 45 ish. Healers are an important class for Mid. These need to be mezzed first and killed last as a general rule....

Alb=a few very good players, but many many RP hungry headless chickens. Alb always seem to lack a battle plan or general strategy.... I think they generally seem to lack Sorcs, which is there aoe mezz class.... If you dont use your CC classes to their full ability you will struggle. Also having that extra stealth class may have worked in other realm favours... there seems to be a alot of minstrals, and minstrals are a bit duff as a group charater compared to Bards...

The Bard is the key class for Hib.

Thx wedge, even thou I am a smite cleric (44 smite) I end up healing more then smiting when I am out running with a nice group (Gonna respec to rejuv ) The only thing I am gonna miss with respeccing from smite is the ability to solo good in PvE (ie helping ppl get the last few xp to ding or so)

And give me the 2000 range on heals!!! (as some ppl tend to rush of out of my range *cough* Konah *cough*)

And my thought on toughest realm to fight, think it would be hib, cause they are alot better at interupting my healing then mid, thou I hate that insta mezz from the healers. So it is really a thing about timing, if I am out with Sorusi (you are the no1 groupleader when we got our nice groups) it tends to go good if we manage to get the healers by surprise then Mids are pretty easy (easy wrong word thou, always nice fights with good groups of mids) And problem with hibs is the tanks seem to live forever, but if you get the bards in the AE mezz and jump the casters it shouldnt be much of a problem (Just that hibs has so damn many casters and bards nowadays)

So, with the right ppl in the group you are able to win over most ppl, and my conclusion is: I hate hibs cause of there fookin many AE dots (DC some days ago, couldnt even show your face at the wall before you where DoTed, so damn irretating)

Anyways, why would you change to mid? I'm trying to level my own ligh eld on hib prydwen atm. Have a mana mentalist too. Both only 15'ish though.

ppl say fighting hibs is hard ??? how can that be? u dont get to fight em u just get aoe mezzed for 1 min 10 secs ( yes that fuking long) and wait your turn on the gank list. I hate fighting hibs cos its always run, mezzed get hit by stupidly powerful nukes, 20 trillion debuffs and if u do happen to get away well guess what, hey thats right you get mezzed again and get finished off. Hibs...tanks hurt to much and they know how to play....however without pwr relics i would say mids

bear in mind FC grp normally = 2 tanks 2 clerics 2 sorcs Wiz and a Mins

5 of them have purge

I have to say mid's are harder, because albs need 4000 people to attack and on average teh alb players tend to be retarded. Albion is made up 100% losers that screw up my duelz0rs. Teh all no skillz lamez0rs.

From an Albion tanks perspective i'd rather fight Mids then Hibs. Most mids wear chain so I get huge bonus damage, whereas Hibs are harder to hurt and everyone damn class appears to be able to snare,root, mezz or paralyse in some way (an exagaration I know but thats how it often feels in emain lol, go on, admit it). And of cause theres that annoying moose thing, with IP and god knows what so I have to kill heros etc 3 times over before they go down.

On the other hand, I enjoy fighting hibs more, but they are the ones I find harder to kill also.

If fighting just to win then i'd rather fight mids, they are easier.

Alb is the only realm where their ae mezzer can be 1 shotted. We got no bards/healers that can ae mezz, just cloth wearers.

When you complain about minstrels getting ae mezz, just consider that pls (even though its on a 5 sec cast time). Hopefully this will even the RvR balance out a bit more imo.

I dont consider any realm to be harder or not than others.

I think its all down too the individual make up of the groups.

I see people talkign about healers...

Any alb group with minstral can take out healer....
Hibbies have it a little harder too beat a healer...
But they do have Insta mezz coming.. and have insta amnesia, and also RA of Group purge which counter balances anyhting healer can do.

This I dont beleieve is the case. A healer has Stun Root and Mezz. All which can stop u again, but too a different effect.
But all have the same immunity timer.

I think people who are unsure maybe ought too seek advice from others in there own realm. Not only are Root Stun and mezz completly differnt things. There are huge difference in the way they work v mobs and how they work in RvR.

Its amazing how many people think RvR and PvE is the same... Even the high lvls high RP earners.. have shocked me.

I jsut wish it was...
I dont understand why PvE and RvR has too be soo differnt..
You gain EXP until you are lvl 50 and effectively that EXP Doesnt mean jack in RvR

Personally I think albs are wussy apart from their stealth classes... minstrel= well, they r just mega overpowered, infils = 2.5 x lvl spec points says it all(still dont know why they get this when SBs and NSs get 2.2xlvl)

Mids... overall they bloody hurt.... zerkers are amazing powerful and hurt like hell.

So for me mids are hardest realm to fight

This amnesia thing always makes me laugh. All realms have it! Sorcerers as well as healers. They hardly ever seem to use it, while Bards regard it as one of their best spells, just to interrupt.

yah... bards got an INSTA single target version and an AE

others have to cast............ thats the difference

ask the tanks .. they do get mezz'ed 2 times and stunned 2 times in the 1 min timer..

Thats the reason why most alb tanks i know buy determination instead of pudge

if you want we can test it .

you allso write minstrels can stop healers . i guess that is the instant stun you refere to ..

thing is our range is 700 ... healers instants is on range 1500..

in some cases (encounters that start in the 700 range, thats allmost only Wall figths) terms are equal.. or allmost equal becuase healers just have to target some1 in group .. minstrels go like this

I've had little group rvr experience but quite a bit of solo experience. From what I've seen is that hibbies are the organised zerg, albs the unintentional and irational zerg and the middies have the best gank squads.

In an 8v8 situation almost always the mids come out on top because they have the most chance of getting their mezzes in. In large zerg forces the hibs win as they have the sturdiest tanks, real healers, and also the best and largest amount of casters with a baseline stun of 9 seconds added to their nuking power.

As far as the minstrels ability to turn the tides of battle is complete bollocks Everyone knows the casters and instrument wielders are attacked first. They're solo machines with a group ability that they love in pve and love to hate in rvr.

You can test te mezz/stun timer out yourself...

I suggest u try it on guards, they are treated the same way as players in RvR.


And as for mintral healer thing... Yes you have the distance thing sorted. But your are speaking as if u running around with the whole group stuck too your ass. If the group you are in dont have the abilty to be able too follow each other without using stick. I can only but that down too lack of awareness.. and will enjoy insta stun mezzing whole group.

But the resaon I reffered too minstral being able too take out healer.. is you have the amazing thing called stealth.

I do wonder why i get stunned first b4 mezzed though. Its not too likey that im gonna be able too spot minstral face and mezz.. Befroe hes casted mezzz.

But I love being stunned first.. means when you too come for me..
Im on stun immunity. and anyone who comes for me.. ends up watching the fight for 30secs. I loved the same when i wasa cleric.. Anyone who doesnt stun a class which has insta type casts avaialble too them before engaging them after mezz, should expect to be on recieving end of something.

it is specific the healer casting instant mezz,some1 breaking that, and after wards casting the 3 sec mezz..

i dont have instant mezz+cast mezz

the reason you get instant stunned before the mezz is because i need to stop you instant mezzing my group..

btw no need to face/mezz me i have at least 2 tanks on me from the start of the battle then i cant mezz ..

and your rigth about the stupid ppl who attackes you after you got the Stun/mezz

cant count the times i have died because some ppl who breaks mezz on the healers only to get half of the group instant mezz'ed inclueding them self....

i have even tryed spamming /yell DONT ATTACK HEALER HE IS MEZZED and ppl still jump the healer and get instant mezzed ..

and about the stealth thing

well first of all stealth dont go welll with gank teams .. they have to be very mobil which needs speed which i cant provide in stealth
allso the mid FG dont sit on their butts in 1 spot (at least not the good 1's) so sneaking in on them in stealth dont happen

You argue minstrals got 700 stun, and healers got 1500 range, on there instant casts. Which is correct.

That advantage healers have is only when minstral non stealthed. As u cant target a stealthed target.

You maintain u cant stealth cause your group needs speed for an effective gank squad. The range of seeing another player is alot higher than 1500. I dont see how you can call that a gank squad if it charges in and gets mezzed. More a group of RP cows. You should have the awareness of not too charge striaght in without taking out healer. Or at least charge in with some distance between you, not all on stick.

You say u cant stealth and take out healer, becuase of the fear of being uncovered by a realm ability. Or because 2 tanks may gank you staight after you take out the healer.

Which kinda sounds like u wanan keep your own life safe too sacarifice the rest of your group


Please also rember healer insta range is all on 10min timer.
And also the RA abilty is on a timer.

I still maintain that the person proberbly doesnt knwo differnece between stun mezz and root. How oftern have i mezzed a target only too then root them as mezz is about too where off.. and even though the target has a ranged attack he/she still sits there.

I suggest u make a healer on prydren and try the insta/3sec mezz out yaself I think ive given too many thigns aware too the nasty albs already.

"Amnesia area instant base, a.100-325, r.2300, re.10s, Bard"- taken from spell lists at Allakhazam.
Insta AoE amnesia at 2300 range, re use 10s, Baseline on bard.
Sorc insta ae debuff is 1500 range which is speccline.
