And it says "recommended CPU 700 watt" does that mean i can use a 700 watt PSU in my computer or does that mean that's the watts the GPU needs above everything else?

Never needed to care before as i've always bought prebuilt computers, but now i really do need to upgrade the GPU and that kinda confused me.

That does not make sense, can you post the URL to the card and the above statement.

Nonono, that's not a statement from anywhere. That's just me wondering if that's what it means because i don't wanna sit with a brand new grafics card and find out that my PSU is too weak. :)

/edit: Say the gfx card needs 700w and the cpu needs 100 or something, that means if i have a 700w psu the system won't be stable because i'd need a 800+w psu.. That's what i'm wondering. :)

Yeahhhhh

If it's a new GPU the wattage has increased significantly, you can use PC Parts picker to work it out, you might be alright with 700.

But to probably more accurately answer your question - I'd imagine that number is their guestimation including the rest of your PC.

700W GPU, you're probably needing 150 on top of that for CPU (I'd look at what that needs..)

If I was running a 5090 and a 9800x3d I'd be looking at 1000W gold.

Google: PSU wattage calculator.

Alright, thanks guys! Didn't even think about using google, it's been so horribly shit recently i don't really expect anything of it anymore.
