When are we going to get some relics?

We've had our relics gone now since almost the launch of SI. Why hasn't Albion tried to take some back? I miss the bonuses but a cleric can't take back a relic alone.

I've been in a few albion zergs in Emain and have asked "wanna take a keep? We'll get DF for Albion" or "Wanna take a relic?" but EVERYTIME all they want to do is camp Midgard keep. Does no one else reliase if you camp a keep you WILL die it's not a "maybe die" it's a "WILL die" situation. They get reinforcements every 15mins because of the distance between Albion and Midgard keeps we get them about every 25mins, stop camping Midgard keep and help me to take a Hibernian keep or relic please!

and i dont think anyone is going to announce a raid on a public board

in short we dont have relics because:

~not much enthusiasm for off-peak raids

~albion is full of prats who dont understand simple instuctions like 'do not kill the guard patrols'

~when we did have the relic safely heading home, a bug meant that SoS didnt activate for the carrier grp and therefore they got killed

At peak time we outnumber Hibs/Mids about 2-1 maybe 1.5-1 if all of the alliances get into contact together they can form a big enough force to take them even if Hibs/Mids try to defend.

When the caps are removed it'll be alot harder to take them.

??? If I learnt something from the previous failed raids it is:

"NUMBERS MEAN NOTHING".

If I would do a serious relic-attempt it would be with around 50-75 peeps. With strategy rather than trying to zerg through Odins and get caught somewhere around AMG being spotted by some SB. And then getting owned @ relic-keep by a zillion incoming Mids.

You guys might as well know my idea of a RR since it's not something which takes a rocket-scientist to figure out:

* Find 50 good Albs, dedicated to succeed (hardest part)
* Bring them on different times to a certain /loc in Uppland and LOG there. That's right, log off
* Log alts; go Odins and take a few keeps. Like 2, perhaps 3 keeps.
* Ask 50-100 random Albs to go to the keep and 'defend it' (eg. tell em free RP and everybody comes)
* Log in mains while the random Albs (IR: RP-fodder to the mad Mids) defend and die and create huge lag in the zone.
* Take the relic and rush through AMG (perhaps with the aid of the random Albs who follow the Mids coz they want RP)
* Be victorious.
* Laughspam at every single Mid because they got fooled by such a simple trick and their unstoppable urge to get RP.

And yes, I cba about telling this tactic on a public-board. Why not? Simple: Everyone can make up such a simple plan. Just someone has to have the natural leadership, dedication and connections (with the right Albs) to complete it.

We got RvR-guilds in Albion (FC, Strife, to name a few) who are pretty good. Perhaps with the aid of a few other Alb-guilds they can succeed. Who knows.

Theres been plenty of raids, problem is after a few failed attempts people lose enthusiasm for the raids. Should of kept the pressure up like we did a few weeks back with a stronger jamtland presence and getting a corpse summoner over there, more activity in there frontier means more oppotunities. Thats how they get the relics off of us after all.

Your wrong Aussie, Mids do care about their keeps, at 5 am in the morning, about the same time they took our relics.
I doubt you mids will hold it for 6 months, so many assholes left Albion to go the uber realm, you should be invested by utter noobs by now.

And Alb and Mid lvl 50 population is the same in numbers. So there is no larger Albion army to take it.
And Mids are currently perfecting zerg tactics in Odin's and Emain, getting better and better at it.

And where exactly are you missing "the bonuses"? What boni (!)do you miss as a Cleric? Do you read BW forums? Do you read the RvR section? Of Server Excalibur? Do you play the same game as we? Do you have a brain?

Power relics affect heal amounts (and smite - if anyone still has it on a quickbar). Of course it's also helpful when my cleric's pets are more powerful, and beserkers don't hit for 800 every 2 seconds.

Theoretically strength relics affect hammer damage.

Other sentiments are valid though.

Given alb has been running an average of 2 relic raids a week for the last month, I'm not really sure what the original poster is talking about. Have you tried joining a guild?

Someone posted a link to a hibernian going mad on a American server because a necromancer put his pet down on the ground surrounded by alot of alb friends to guard his pet and the necromancer creeped up the stairs walked past all the hibs took the relic and legged it with the hibs gobsmacked....

So mix 'Puppetmistress' suggestions with that one, surely that would trick Hibs/Mids for a while.

Also Hibs don't have the same amount of people, maybe mids do but hibs certainly don't so taking their relics would surely be easier?

Hibs have power relics, mids have str relics.

We can defend Excalibur - as we've proven many times. At least we can when we give a shit to retake keeps

Myrddin cannot be defended - as has been proven on this and every other server. We have had power relics before, for a couple of days before losing them again.

LOOOL !!! I was on vacation, and U took the keeps at like 22.00 - 03.00

and the Relic at 09.00 the folowing day .. wonder why U didn't meet much resistance ...

but not to worry Albion, we WILL get the relics back!
