im an engineer(scary how many times it took me to spell that word) irl, so thought why not do it in game. I love my Ceaforium Bombs.

And i *think* im 13, because i dont think i trained this level. Plus my imp is called Piztog :D

and its not 14 hours, its a more manly 20 :D

engineering is good. I was 315 engineering in US, you get to make a flamethrower, the bombs are good, used with ither aoe's and you can make money selling metals if u need to. The best part is making bullets and scopes for hunter m8s

My e-penis is but small! I'm level 9 wandering about randomly, dieing plenty, getting lost on every quest I rather stupidly accept but f*** me I'm having a great time! Think I've played 15 hours or more to get to even level 9 but I've had a cool time looking at the world, at the scenery, the game interface, socialising, exploring so I'll prolly hit 60 by accident rather than design.

I never played beta (and had no intention of I hated DaoC beta and ended up with 6 lvl 50s hehe) so I'm going to open a beer, relax and have a little fun time for me. I'd be a few levels higher if I hadn't spent 7 hours in the pub on sunday but sometimes these things need to be done ;)

Id say if you want to level quick you should:

# Solo - only grp at the spot for bosskills, leave group after the kill (dont wait around for the group to decide what to do next) but do it politely.

# Only do quests where you kill stuff, and dont bother with quests where you have to collect 10 pumpkins etc, as when you kill you get exp for the kills and exp for the quest.

# Dont bother with instances. Only do them if you get a nice group almost instantly - do not wait several hours for a nice grp and suffer through several retries to complete a quest. You will have alil worse equipment but it doesnt matter much.

# Dont sit around idle and undecisive - as soon as your done with one quest go to the next.

# Be effective when you quest - do all quests in the same area before moving back to town or to another area. Always pick all quests you can in an area, you can always abandon those that are unconvenient to complete.

# If a certain mob/boss is zerged, move on and do something else.

# Play mostly at nigth if possible since there are less people to compete for the mobs you might need.

NOTE: these are ways to level quicky - not nessecarily to have fun :m00:
Personaly i dont follow these, but they seem to be the general way to go if your goal is to level quick. I take my time and do what i feel like when i feel like it :)

Sorry, slightly off topic but ... what is so god-awful difficult about typing "mates" and not "m8s" or "you" and not "u". I can understand it, a little, if it's in game when things are happening quickly in a group so people text type -- but on a forum there are no such speed rules. Type English please!

Have to say I find the willy wavers in here to be rather sad.
If ever a game deserved to be played at a pace that recognised its depth its WoW. Its a bloody marathon not a sprint and retards posting that shit should be killed. You're lucky I dont mod this forum as I'm a n00b! :p

Anyway, enjoying it hugely, far more than DAOC and have found "a groove" and am advancing at a pace that seems to feel right.
Had a little arsing around, seeing what size train I can get behind me before being munted and other stupid stuff.

Found a bug in Thunder Bluff that lets me seemingly fly (I get stuck in mid-air during a jump if I jump in a certain place and I hover in mid air and can walk about and stuff. Drops down if I stop moving). Gonna walk off the cliff top in this state tonight to see if its worth reporting as an exploit or just a graphical glitch.

Should be funny either way...

I'm not playing to become lvl 60 asap.. sure I want to reach the next level asap :) But that's something different ;)

I'm pretty sure I won't ding 60 until late mars/early april or something.. and by that time I hope Battlegrounds are implemented and that we have some sort of PvP rewards.

Having a job and social life, plus being able to sleep, are so much better than being level 60 after 4 days of retail. If you don't understand that I'll draw you a diagram.

Just under 2 1/2 days /played now and level 26 with good progress into 5 tradeskills and loasd of quests + instance dungeon runs done.

Not once used a website to check spams or quest walkthrus, read all quests and had a lot fo fun.

No grinding, all xp obtained in relation to a quest and its DAMN FUN :D

Some are lvl 30+ after 2 days(what the hell?), took me friggin 2 hrs to get from 9-10. I get the feeling quest-exping sucks ;P

Been there done that one nite to get 30 kinda thing. You seem obligated to get it there quickly aswell, no need to go site seeing or traverling to unlock new map locations either as u (i) know wots there.

I just figured this out:

If u r lvl 60 on a PvP server on horde, and do the quest "Search for lost Experience" with a human char (maybe any alliance char works) u can actually get to lvl 61.

The quest, however, took 6 hours to complete due to not being able to read about it anywhere, grrr. Ill post details later - maybe (Im on a PvP server afterall).

Interesting. Can you also figure out what "All of your characters on a PvP realm must be on same team" means?

The trick is to have a archane specced mage , priest and shaman tauren for ae stun and pulsing totem. Was hitting 15+ mobs a time 50% of the mobs were orange to me and my group. Did this yesterday and was hitting a dps of 530 at level 27 which is sick since solo dps is around 50-55 as a mage on si ngle mobs. Will post video on that later when its edited to help the people out there exp. Was getting 5% to next level / pull almost :) So 20 manabars = new level. Screw quests , this way is the way to go .

That's a bad idea of stupid theoretic. There are no good spots for pulling 15+ mobs and there is low respawn rate.Wow is different from daoc dude !

Wrong... The Koreans killed the dragon after 3 days (because they didn't get a charecter wipe after beta.)
