I was struggling to get my bulging wallet out of my pocket last night and wondering - why do I have so much stuff in it?

Clearly being Scottish it's not bulging with money, but various cards and assorted crap that I probably don't need to carry around on a daily basis.

What do other folk have in their wallets?

I'm thinking of getting a nice, smaller wallet that will slip in an out of my pocket with ease. You only really need 1 bank card, one credit card and a driving license, right?

About 10 cards (credit/debit/store/business cards, driving license, EHIC etc), some of which haven't been out in 2+ years, some notes, too many coins, a lot of Subway tokens (you know, from the scheme that ended about 3 years ago :\) and that's about it. It's nice when your wallet bulges for the right reasons, but not just when it's full of crap. :(

NI? You carry your national insurance card with you??

There's a credit and debit card in mine. Fuck all else. And the wallet's about 10 years old and absolutely wrecked. Used to say Bad Mother Fucker* on it but it's worn away now...

*Yes, I found the pulp fiction reference funny when I was younger. Until, that is, they shut down all of the metal detectors in Orlando airport so the fucking dumb yank retard c*nt staff could all come over and have a giggle at it. Regardless of the hewuge queues of passengers who were made to wait to get through - all of them hating me 'cause I *must* have been doing something wrong.

I fucking hate americans :(

Two credit cards, two debit cards, a PADI membership card, driving licence (plastic bit), a rather swish credit card sized memory stick I got from Man U when I had a meeting with their commercial people a few months back, a bunch of receipts, a pound coin from when I was back in London last weekend, fluff.

It's pretty much the only id I have.

Quite other than that, Police seem to like stopping motorcyclists for some reason :/

Bit daft. If stopped the police still need to see the paper part. It would be cheaper to just get an ID card, there are several schemes that aren't the stupid official government version. To replace your driving license it's quite expensive I think.
