I'm gonna go for an Undead Mage or an Orc Warrior, normally play a tank class in all the mmorpg's i've played so I thought i'd mix it up a bit with a mage this time because they seem pretty cool.

I was totally convinced i was going to play a mage (gnome or human) but i got to try out the hunter (troll) and now im not sure anymore

So for me it will be a dwarf hunter or a gnome/human mage

dwarfes cant be paladins anymore afaik

Was thinking of orc warrior or undead warlock, warlock seems to be most challenging class to play but only time will tell I guess

apart from hunter, what classes have speed enchantment ?
or can all classes get it via some item ?

Druids and Shamen haven Travel form and rogues have Sprint (short duration speed increase). Taurens also have Plainsrunning ability.

And yes, all classes can get mounts to ride

hunters are the only ones who get a group speed buff ability afaik (aspect of the cheetah whatnot). wonder if the speed buff stacks with the mount...

I doubt it, the speed increase from Aspect isn't that much from what I understand.

would be nice if people could leave the daoc-attitude behind when moving to WoW... quite tired of "fotm", "omgwtfpwnz0r!" and nerf cries
(think that rules out the PvP server for me... even though I enjoy PvP; the side-effects just isn't worth it to me)
