What would you do with $14.5 billion?

I'd end up doing the same thing I think I'd do if I won a reasonable amount on the lottery, just on a larger scale. I'd basically, not spend anything above what the interest would give me and invest on creating a racing team and perhaps, should this happen within the next 10 years, race myself for fun. :)

As a lottery idea I was intent on perhaps entering a circa £20,000 car championship and work onb it during the weekends, training friends up and having them manage the garage and/or driving the car. What a fantastic way to spend each weekend.

With that amount? I'd be buying myself a formula one team and employing a whole group of people. What an awesome time that could be had; lets face it, even if it went tits up and lost all my money even on ferrari/mclarens budget of $500million a year with no income, I could have 27 years of awesome fun then retire with a billion still in the bank to live out my days.

omg imagine having anything of Cho's surgically implanted into you! If he had Cho's eyes would that mean cho might get mental images of whatever Dukat was looking at...like a psychic link to things? Oo

Oh, that's a plan, make myself the 15 billion dollar man :D

Bet with 15bil you'd get all sorts of cybord sh*t going on.

And spare bodies!

All i would need to do is develop a reasonable way to download my memories and all to another body, ask it if it remember everything and then kill myself to carry on living forever.

...don't think about that, it'll hurt the brain!

Ow...

My plan only cost £10 and a pack of crisps. The rest was for coke and hookers.

By the way, to hire 100 people, for 50k/year, for 100 years, costs only 500mil.

That amount of money is ridicilous, i could have my own lair of evil!

I'd hire 10 people and pay them a £1m a year. Maybe 20 actually.

You never know, some of them might make some money for me too :)

Build a few things that last like they did in Victorian times. Buy a few housing estates and bulldoze them.

Decided on one venture i'd love to do if I had the monies; A cinema that specialises in showing old movies, such as Gone with the Wind to more recent out of print movies and some obscure films from decades past that wouldn't get much of a showing these days :)

I would buy all the ISP's that can provide Toht with Inet connections and have him disconnected from FH until the rest of the forum can catch up with his post count :p

I'd like to pay Baroness Warsi, Ken Livingstone, Bob Crow, Harriet Harman, George Osborn, Sarah Tether, and Caroline Flint whatever amount of money they want to stay out of UK politics and never appear on television again. Oh, and Davina Mccall.

Bob Crow would probably want more than 14 billion. On principle of course.

I wonder, if there was a general election next year, how would people vote? How would Labour do? A lot of people are pissed off with the Coalition re the child benefits fiasco
