Get red backs in Dubai now to. came in with the ships of building materials apparently. Destroyed a nest of eggs and 1 of the blighters about 3 weeks ago. Although the stripe was a bit more orange coloured than red I was told it was a red back.

Problem in Dubai is that no hospital carries the anti venom so they only treat the symptoms. Nice to know, not!

Not a hoax pic but there is a lot of rumours about camel spiders. In general they are harmless, no venom but they are flesh easters and can give you a nasty bite.
