Hmm Belomar what I meant is that I understand why some people sit at DL while sorting their groups and wait for 2 hours for the perfect guy to login, not saying I agree or would do such a thing myself..

And those times I wtfpwned those peeps at ellyls, tbh if anyone does a stunt like that, they would know how it feels, and these forums are for that anyways, to talk about your rvr battles.

Kinda dumb question as surely not all people wants the same - if you would think RvR would be more fun with 50% dmg reduction then fine but i for one wouldn as it would kill off BS 1/2 and PA which should be this very highdmg styles - with 50% less dmg the points could be used for something else imo

they tried reducing dmg in rvr with 35% (which it is boosted with compared to pve iirc) on pendragon but it was swiftly nailed.

The best thing that could be done for RvR would be to redress the classes, giving each class a desired role that they alone could perform, whilst still ensuring that, without that specific class, the group can still function sufficiently (maybe each class can excel at one role, but also perform a secondary role to a lesser extent? I dunno, I know what I want to say, it's putting into words thats hard ) And to the player who says anyone who has a 'gimped' class is just being lazy for sticking to their original class instead of rolling the latest FOTM class to get RvR, try playing only a couple of hours a night or less, and getting any class to 50 before it gets nerfed - unless you're really lucky, it's damn hard, even if you do try to start over! And besides, why SHOULD someone have to discard their chosen toon?

Tbh though, I don't think thats possible anymore with the way the game has evolved, and with the advent of ToA I can see further classes getting left out in the cold. Just pray it isn't yours.

Dude, i've been specced with tank(ish) ra's with claw in rvr and our damage is still shit . Just remember who pwned the warden tourny xD ^^

Totally agree with this post and I myself am glad I did stop playing my enchanter when first RvR guilds were forming and rising their gaudy heads from the what ever gutter they spawned from.

Problem that game is facing is well made clear here by arnor for instance and well he did put it. Also I'd like to add my hatred towards mythic with creating RA system that made it even worse. RAs are ofcourse nice idea but something like determination is way over.

All this pointless meddling to get perfection of 1 fg vs 1 fg where everyone has high RRs and knows how to play their fotm class is really some evil utopia as game never were ment to be fair and balanced. I really can't see why did RvR guild prosper and get majority wanting to be like them. I can only puke on idea of elitism and what it has conceived here as RvR guilds. If people can't understand meaning of RvR and play for themselves and guild only we are in situation at hand. Realm has little meaning if any...it's almost like PvP server brought among us.

Tip of the year: Bugger off to Camlann with yer FOTM grps pls.
