I got bored of Planetside when all my friends stopped playing and it just felt like I might as well have been playing with bots for all the social interaction there was. Was looking for the right squad to join but never came along. Good game but it's no fun playing mutliplayer games on your own.

Got Star Wars: Battlefront, Warhammer 40K : Dawn of War and Call of Duty: United Offensive today.

Installed all 3, put CoD pack on 8 hrs ago - day has disappeared, feckin loads of fun.

Star Wars Battlefront is utter shite

I find the gfx, weapons, damnit - everything to feel just plastic and cheap. A bit like the Phantom Menace.

Warhammer 40k is excellent, great fun. Back to United offensive tho

I've not played it on PC but on xbox battlefront is fantastic. I imagine it was designed to be a console game and they often don't work well on pc.

united offensive is great. loads more intense than the origional CoD, plus you need to think through a couple of parts. i also like the more open field battles with germans appearing from every direction. DoW is great too, there is so many little things in it, just gets better and better. never in a RTS have i seen so much detailed animations in the units.

Completed the single player levels and played about 5 hours of MP - not a single bug to be seen so far JBP.
