What RvR has come to - Disgusting !

Happily runing around in emain with a 7 people group, some low rrs and not even all 50.
We see a group of Albs ( high rr ) on a hill and attack. They were already engaged ( just i think ) with a group of BO.
Next thing that happens is that the Bad Omen group leaves and we get butchered of course.
Irc response from alb group, thank you Bo.

This is the worst thing I ever witnessed in Daoc.
Shame on whoever told the Bo group to back off and leave us to be farmed. Because thats all it is for you fucking elitists, farming.
It has nothing to do with your realm or honor or defeating the enemy. It's nothing more then talking on Irc with enemies from Albion giving eachother realm points. So incredibly lame.
To top it off, Mr Inconnu Arid aka screaming bitch has to laugh spam us. Laugh spam when you win fair and square next time.

If this is what it has come to, ask yourselves why do you still play ? The Flammen Herra above your head is worth nothing if you play like that.

I was in the same group as Scarffs and I was fairly suprised to see BO leave.

First i thought they had been killed and did a /who omen...8/10 was in emain (or similar)...so i asked where they went in the CG i know some of them were in...no answer...

At that moment I was in BO's irc channel where Arid happned to be too saying: Thanks for not adding BO (or similar)...

What I feel that was: Thanks for giving us some RP, lets fight later.

I use to feel safe to have BO close in the same zone, knowing backup was not far away...
I dont anymore, since now it feels like I got albs in midgard.

Thats a bit silly tbh, although i like fair fights, backing off is a bit extreme which even i wouldnt do, its still a game and not a sport...

You are part of midgard and should fight side by side to defeat albs and hibs..not let em die cos u dont wanna fight then.

We were there to be farmed by BO's alb friends so that BO couse have the RPs from albs from themselfs...

Tss what a moron, doesnt know half the facts, PE was fighting a group of mids when we saw them, at the same time we almost engage PE another mid group comes and attacks, we could have been morons like most mids are and kill PE with 3fg but what we want most of all is fair fights so we left and let PE fight the 2fg mids that were left, im glad PE killed the mids, the ones that think instead of getting skill lets just zerg so we win, their own stupidity killed them and i find it quite funny to see them come here and whine, cry more imo

As GM of BO i can tell how we do.
We like fair 1fg vs 1fg fights.
We hate when the other realm adds in a fair 1fg vs 1fg fight.
We as guild, try to avoid add in 1fg vs 1fg fights.
More guilds do like maelstrom/forsete (r.i.p).
Some guilds dont try to avoid add. Up to them self.
But still this is a GAME and most importent that you have fun.
Sure its sad that u need a very good setup to fight other guilds with 1fg GG and opted setup, like PE. But we try not to add, PE tries to not add on us, sine its often lose if you fight 1group and a good guild adds on you.

That isnt fair. But what stops you from making guild groups yourself? If you play in a random group you cant have much hope of killing opted guild groups.

1) My guild isnt 110% rvr focused, we are a allround guild.
2) At the moment we have around 3ppl online.

If I play in a random group I dont have hopes to kill a opted guild group, I hope to manage to help out my realm mates, or as you like RvR guilds like to call it "Add".
What I do hope to kill is other random groups.
And I have a lil question for you Fade...
If you see 1 random mid group fight and 1 random alb group fight, do you join the battle or just run by?

You dont try to "add", and I think that is good, but when someone "adds" to your groups you just leave them to die. Is that realm spirit? No.
Its more like monopoly on RPs in emain.

So by this you mean join a rvr group and pwn everything that moves...

Instead of running the guild i care for and love to get better...

Working for the things you accomplish...As in playing my thane for a year, getting 1.4mish RP and still get rejected by groups?

Or spending 1 hour to build a RvR group out of friends and some random ppl to get whiped by a alb group couse mids leave us mid-battle?...

RvR guild = easy way to lots of RP, not what i call work for your RPs.

HW = Alb zerg most of day time, otherwise hib gank groups or slteah zergs..
Odins = Stealthzergs most of the day..

What you take me for? Some kind of RvR newbie? Dont think so.

If someone adds on us, its not really possible to back away from fight, but sure would want them not to have added..
And it seemed that fight it was 1fg vs 1fg first
BO came, and watched abit since its hard to back away or run past sometimes then you saw BO and random mid group and also engaged and now without have fighted in that fight BO went away. From my view atleast from reading the story..

I, as a healer, got the 2nd mezz of, BO got the first, we "added" maybe 1 or 2 seconds after BO had engaged them..

(the time it takes to turn and run to the spot) So it wasnt realy that we ran in, mid fight...)

exactly, if BO didn't back off it would have been 3fg mids vs our 1fg and very easy victory for them. even without BO the fight was long and far from "easy farming" for us, we used everything we had there.

not adding may not fit the concept of realm vs realm and i can very well understand the anger of the original poster but if other ppl did like BO there (refuse to join and make the fight very unfair - i've done the same on excal quite a few times btw), a single realm having large numbers of players in emain wouldn't ruin rvr for the 2 other realms at the time.

also, in my opinion using greater numbers as an advantage is perfectly fine in keep / relic defense and such realm vs realm stuff, but most ppl go emain just hoping for nice and as fair as possible fights.

btw not that it matters really but it was hardly a PE group, think we were 3 PE ppl in the grp.
