Sucky laws made because of stuff like the above can result in a situation like the one in Denmark not long ago. A 21 year-old man working at a gas station drove home from work, he had forgotten to take out his pushup cutter-knife with a 7cm blade for opening cardboard boxes at work. Because this blade could be locked in place with a click it's regarded an illegal weapon. You're allowed to use it at work, but not when you're off.

The young man was jailed for 2 weeks, lost his job, and can most likely not get a normal job for the next 5 years. The police agrees the law is legal, but the only way they can change it is jailing "innocent" people like the above to show the public how retarded laws are.

Well atleast in sweden if you use knife in your work, like carpenters, chefs etc, you are allowed to carry them between your work and your home.
