I miss soloing in emain and odins. I used to love all the old frontier zones.

Yeah, it wasn't all wine and roses, I didn't mean to suggest is was. There were times when the game came pretty close to unplayable unless you ran in a set grp of some kind. Overall I think things are better.

i miss the old keeps and relic raids. was much more fun when it wasn't such a hassle to attack keep or go for a relic. now relic raiding is mostly set back to off hours time when most of the enemy is sleeping

1. Non opted groups - regardless of level and spec, players went out and had fun - even better when rpees meant nothing except a number!

That was the best time..........nothing comes close.

I miss the old simple spellcraft suites where you could easily cap everything necessary with a cheap 99% suite and not have to worry about cap increases, haste and all the other toa bullshit.

I miss the feeling of killing people higher level then me.

I miss being able to run up steep hills to watch the valleys below for enemies.

I miss the good will that meant it was not uncommon to have a huge multi-realm congression in HW to show our respects when a player passed away or a disaster took place in the world.

But most of all, I really really miss my reactionary stun chain

Amen to that. Still got screenies of the first time I took part in that with me next to Jamieismallicous and numerous other hibs. Was a very good way to show how the game transcended into the real world.

Shame some ass hole pbaoe hibbie came and nuked half of albion to death . . .

That allmost 80% of the towns u enter is empty.
Allmost 80% of the dungeons u come is empty

Just run arround mid/hib/alb mainland.. you will most likely meet nobody.

I miss the fact that if i run to Salisbury plains i don't see purple mobs anymore.
I miss rvr with my lvl 37 infil at cear erasleigh OF where lvl 50 people really helped me by actually giving me a rezz everytime i got insta killed by a aoe nuke from a Llaw ariaw eldritch.
I miss the 300 people raids.
I miss the buffbotless times.. the whole 2 months xD
I miss actually entering a area and see more then 10 people.

I miss ASq / Semper Fidelis

I miss Cyclodia. Cyclodia hits you and stuns you. :< (damn evade! xD)

Actually playing my stealther, and knowing that only few people played it and not 50% of the entire population.

i miss running out on a guild event/keep take on my pally (Yali) at lvl 25 and having fun.
i miss the keep takes/retake fights after the summoner was introduced (some very fun fights, most in pennine)
i miss for the first time running in the same group with the same ppl for a whole day earning 80k rp on my firewizz (Starflame)
i miss the relic raids with 200-300 ppl in them
i also miss pretoa when a decent template didnt cost 100s of plat and took months to finalize

and finally like most ppl i miss OF

I miss long lasting tank fights. Only tank fights I get nowadays on my skald is against a solo warden or paladin, and that happens once in a week. Too many fights now are only about what I-Win abilities were up and who clicked the button first. But the main reason that I don't like the current rvr situation is that it's way too many casters, for every tank there's atleast 9 casters, and if I see an enemy tank 1 of us are most likely to get zapped down by a caster before the fight is over.

I miss the days when I could run in a group of 2 warriors, 1 skald and 1 savage or thane, and meet the enemy group of 2 paladins, 1 minstrel and 1 armsman or merc.

That's what I play for, the tank fights, and that's why you haven't seen me around much lately. I get too frustrated of boring fights versus casters that are only about who can zapppp the enemy first. Who clicked the button first.
