Tbh, nothing will ever make OK Computer or The Bends shit. That in mind, I think it's good they try new angles rather than rehashing old shit. Otherwise you fall in to the Green Day trap.

Didn't you like Hail to the Thief?

It was OK, better than Kid Amnesiac but still not up to the 3 before then (yes I'm including Pablo Honey dammit - any album with Creep and Anyone Can Play Guitar on it deserves classic status imo). I wasn't calling the Bends and OK Comp shit, just what they did after. Oh and I wish Green Day would rehash their old stuff, their current release is turdy middle of the road bollocks.

Dismember - Where Angels Fear To Tread

In the best of worlds, Entombed would still sound like this.

iirc - Dismember were always better.

Girls Aloud - Long Hot Summer.

(not so much listening as having a wank in front of the PC.)

Nice shanks - Things We Lost in the Fire is pretty depressing, but very good none the less.

José González - Veneer. Really rather good album actually.

Sad when your best song is cover really. Although good on him getting some airplay. Too bad it's all because of the awareness raised by a commercial for a product by the dark side of the force (sony plasma tv).
