With an even number of players, the game will end with at night, which is both shit and gives a big advantage to the wolves. Also, votes can be tied, which also sucks.

I present dull stats. Notice that having an even number of players is bad, but we can skip to the odd number by not lynching. Assuming the wolves don't like stats and don't decide not to kill based on my evidence.

Code:
(two wolves)
 5 players: humans win 0
 6 players: humans win 0
 7 players: humans win 0.133
 8 players: humans win 0.083
 9 players: humans win 0.229
10 players: humans win 0.157
11 players: humans win 0.299
12 players: humans win 0.215
13 players: humans win 0.352
14 players: humans win 0.264
15 players: humans win 0.395
16 players: humans win 0.305
17 players: humans win 0.430
18 players: humans win 0.339
19 players: humans win 0.460
20 players: humans win 0.370
21 players: humans win 0.485

So, Vote : No Lynch

It's true that you can rarely glean anything from the first day, and the odds of hitting a bad guy are slimmer than our mayors decaying corpse (which someone really need to move)

I'm quite happy to no lynch and see what occurs overnight.

vote: no lynch

stats....stats just make my brain weep a little bit, but I see what you're getting at. However there is no point just diving in with a no lynch(although I think it's probably the best idea) as then the next day we have nothing to go on when someone is potentially killed.

I fear Olga is threatened by the villagers who can work out odds and see our chance of picking a wolfie on day one is very slim..

I'm in favour of a no lynch, but only after a full day of investigation. It seems some people wish to end the day very quickly...

Well anything now is mere speculation, as no one has discussed anything worthwhile!

I'm for a no Lynch, however I may change my mind if someone presents an angle/argument against it!

Vote No Lynch!

So already 3 no lynch votes with mo attempt made to even discuss anything else? So dangerous.

And i also mentioned it on a previous post of being weird, that he'd start the bandwagon and then bring up the "this seems like a game to you two" who followed.

Now you're acting really suspicious :p

ahh ok... Olga.

So Olga starts a vote for no lynch, and then accuses will and syd of playing a game when they follow.

I really think one or all of you should remove your votes and explain your positions, I also think we should make sure we have a full account of everyone present before rushing off into the night.

Not at all Toht, I just missed his post. I looked back over the posts and missed it a second time too.

Im not really sure what you can really get out of such early conversation in a tiny village like ours. We could randomly pick someone and burn them on the off chance that they are a wolfie but the odds are slim. I also wanted to see if anyone would push for the no lynch after it reached 3 votes as it is then easier to get a majority and avoid a lynching.

Alas no one fell into the trap after 2 votes were registered, except Calaen, but it would have needed another quick vote for it to look dodgy in my eyes.

Yes I understand the bandwagon baiting, I understand the logic behind a no lynch. I don't however understand the need to end the day with no talk.

Talk and a longer day gives more opportunity for slip up's, lets us see who is active and who is playing the quiet game. If we end the day now, we lose out on this.

Totally agree with Chet on this one, well...maybe not totally, I'm not convinced that No Lynch is the way to go as it gets us less information even if it saves someone....but we have to talk atleast! And those looking to rush through today for the sake of it, smack of people who have things they want to get up to tonight!

Aye exactly Cerb. Best bet is to wait for everyone to wake up, have a bit of a chat on the shit that has gone down and at least give us some platform to go with tomorrow.
