And no, not really. It's stepping up as the temp increases. I done did a graph.
I did a 1080p Furmark burn-in test for 15mins. The fan speed seems to go up quite gracefully, it just gets hella noisy from about 50% upwards.
It's not overclocked (it's the ghz edition so it's factory clocked to 1050mhz core and 1500mhz mem). The temp (of the thermal diode) never got over 70c and the fan speed went up to 69% (3020rpm).
