sec and third = neutral

the raid was planned yesterday, i was planning on goign but rebooted 10min before the raid was planned to start at 10am after moving chars to odinspk.

after rebooting the patch server was fubared so i, along with others couldnt get back in to assist with the raid.

the raid went ahead.

as for keeping the relics, i would guess GOA will reset them, as people would have been unable to login to defend (which is host most relics are defended, by ppl logging in mains logged at or close to relic keeps)

People were able to switch to an alt/main if they were already logged in (update server was down, not login or game server). If they weren't logged in, how would they know that there was a relic raid going on?

They are just bitter about the fact that people didn't port back from Emain and their camping positions in DC to defend the relics, but are too proud to say so.

Listen again, i could log in my 2nd account and others were able to switch chars on their respective accounts.

If it's possible to switch chars for albs it should be possible for mids, too. Switching from an alt to a mainchar doesn't touch the update-server at all, 'cause your account stays in the game technically and don't leave the server at all. So no patchserver needed for relogging.

Btw., why don't you blame your own people who decided to raid DC in Emain instead of porting back to Midgard to defend relics?

Erm, Hib relic raid was planned, I knew about it at around 3pm, so unless you're going to insist I can see into the future...

If relics don't get rolled back it's going to be an absolute disgrace seeing as Hibs have suffered from roll backs 3 times now, 1 time of which was under near exact same circumstances.

In saying this I'm not saying I think I agree with rolling back because I know how unfair it felt when we had them rolled back the other day but I am saying GOA will have to treat all realms equally or there's going to be a lot of VERY pissed Hibs.

All I know is that I couldn't log in...theres many posts all over this forum about others who couldnt log in. I had to redo my patch update files or something and then wait for ages to actually get the login server and repatch 1.60.

I will say gratz tho to you albs for the raid. You would have taken it regardless of the situation.

accept that you would have received more resistance had people been able to log in.

As I said before, if GOA let the relics stay with alb, we'll simply come and take them back, we'll just wait till theres no server problems.
