Morning!

My girlfriend told me on the phone earlier to 'get a fucking life, you lazy shit'.

She has a point.

Can I just post this little extract I found on the awful official DoD forums. At a time when everyone is raving about the new-found teamwork in the game, this made me laugh. (MG42 is a big machine-gun, btw)
Am I a bastard because I do this?
I know there's say an MG42 up ahead. I know that to step around the corner will mean death so I wait. After a little bit some friendly soldiers come up and stop, obviously wondering why I have stopped. I then yell, "Move up" and they run around the corner thinking I'm going with them. As they're getting mowed down I pop around the corner and pick off the MGer.

Now does that make me a bastard?
He's got the right idea. :D

Still awake! Bleurgh!

I know how you all like to keep abreast of these things so I thought I'd show you another little post from the consistently dire official DoD forums. Bear in mind these people have no idea what humour actually is, which is why I laugh at them a lot.

earlier i was playing as axis on dog1, we were guarding the western (?) flank i think and there was like 4 of us all ready for the coming attack. then i see some nades bouncing towards my teammate, like 5 explosions go off and one of my guys dies. next thing i see is 4 allies all running out from cover, in a formation that seemed like it would have to be practiced and practiced to get right, like a football play or something. just seeing people working together like that. i was just watching in awe for like 20 seconds.

...then i mowed em all down with my machine gun! heh

I've seen them all but I only own Dress to Kill. That and Glorious are my two faves. I'm a sucker for production values.

He does some great stuff in Dress to Kill about the war, Europe, America (DtK was filmed in San Francisco). Insightful, provoking and funnee.

i wasn't that into his humour stylee until about 6 months ago, so i missed most of the live shows at the time. i really should hunt the videos down and purchase them. he's one of the only comedians who has literally made me cry laughing :)

I hear ya, buddy. :)

Definitetly go for Dress to Kill and Glorious. The Interweb is full of Eddie stuff, but have a look at his official site as they've got some good, long, funny audio clips.

Strangely, no. But I have discovered where all the weirdos go early in the morning. Most of them were there stocking shelves. Next time I'm taking a weapon.

Blimey! Who would have thought you already had Dress to Kill right there on your hard drive all this time! Well there's a thing... :)

/me checks progress of Glorious in Kazaa
