week off with nothing to do

today is my first day off then im back in on monday


AND OMG IM ALREADY SO BORED!!

admitadly it's less boring than being at work but even so.

if you had a random week off with no plan what would you do with it? money isn't really and issue but everyone else is working most days anyway

was toying with the idea of going somewhere, but then i'd just be bored in another country!

played abit of FM and fifa and black ops but can't play anything for more than like 1 hour before i get really bored


same with reading and watching series can watch 1-2 episodes then i need to do somthing


just really restless but with nothing to acctaully go and do to cure it :<



and ye i was thinking of going up to stevenage to see friends family ect but was thier weekend before last and again everyone would just be at work

I do have a random week off, I'm having it right now...as we speak!!

Hmm what am I doing? Well, waking up late (that's 8am for me) going on the cross trainer in the mornings and running in the evenings, and in between sitting at my pc (currently wearing thermal socks, x2 sweaters, my coat and gloves...yes HQ really is that cold) working on my assignment for uni.

I have not left the house since Saturday and if it wasn't for my friend phoning me this afternoon I'd not have spoken to anyone since then either lol. Am going running tonight with another friend then tomorrow going out for lunch in the day and then out for drinks in the evening....might possibly be going out for drinks this evening too but will see if I defrost enough after my run.

If I had a week off and no assignment to write I'd be off out like a shot hiking and whatever and I have no qualms about invading foreign countries on my own...so beware!! [edit: oh and if there's any eatin' and rapin' to be done, I'm the one whose going to be doing it!]

Just enjoy it and fgs make the most of it, you'll be back at work soon enough thinking 'man I wish I'd done [insert activity here] while I was off'

.... what im not "scared" to go somewhere on my own, i moved to a new city on my own last year and lived in birmingham for 6 months on my own,

but if you're going to spend out to go away somewhere why would you want to do it on your own?

Spend a day at the movies and catch like 2 or 3 (depends if you are cool going on your own. Personally I'm obsessed so I hapily will)

Do some sort of activity like a surf lesson?

Take some time to make yourself your favourite lunch and dinner?

Because you can meet new people. If you stay in a hostel you WILL meet loads of backpackers from all over. Lots travel alone, you can group up and see things, go out etc.

You could always just get pissed, it's a classic start for a holiday week. Then next day it's crappy hangover food and stupid TV watching(as you do in a hangover) so that's 2 days already.

thats the thing tho, nothing i do on my todd (other than the obvious) makes me happy, just passes time more than anything, like in only really play console game when im at a friends or w/e and any online games i only play with vent/TS to have a laugh, the game is just background noise for whateva shit were talking about, i don't need ME time
