I`d love to see the numbers back to 2 years ago times but unfortunately without a multi server cluster it just won`t happen.The pools shrinking on all servers as to be expected with an old game.It`s not cos x1 person added on x1 other or cos x1 guild took such and such a keep at 3am while everyone on FH was asleep.My circumstances over the 4/5 years of playing have changed and i`d guess so have for most and with no advertising for 'new' players the numbers are bound to decrease.

excalibur was initally one of the most populated speaking servers.... you have a german server for germans, a french server for french, a spanish server for spanyards, an italian server for italiens, and an English server for english?

the english server was the prime choice for a lot of the other nationalities and as the most commen language that more widespread and taught... you would expect dyvet to be GOA's flag ship server that was the last one standing when the game finally does kick the bucket.... not the empty one.

a lot of peeps jumped ship from Dyvet but theres never been any jumping ship to Dyvet... you could just say we were unlucky.. I certainly would agree with what your saying though.. realistically to blaim it on the "adders" or to blaim it on the leetists is silly and pointless (although im sure i have prolly done so at some point)

also think its a bit silly the way a player of the game tries to make a post and just gets jumped all over because he isnt one of the leet boys...

The problem is people are leaving this server for just the reason I said, if you go out solo and get killed by 4 players all higher rr than you and that is just about all there is to fight then you are going to log out and when you next log back in it might well be a on a different server with a higher population.

Well speaking as one that used to play here but migrated so to speak this server is definitely for the elite classes only - the real die hards. Nothing wrong with that I think as there is still a pretty close community kind of feel to this server. As for new players you won't get many of them. You will get some but they will have tried the US servers first. The ones that really like to run multiple accounts - and there is a certain attraction and added skill involved in this - will eventually find their way here. If and when you try the US servers though - Classic - it is like a breath of fresh air - newbies all over the place. But the only players I read about on this forum have been playing for years and are dug in really deep. Still, like I said, each to their own. There isn't really much fun in bashing some newbie anyways. Not sure there is much fun in bashing anyone after a while. I just like to log on and relax bashing monsters. Normally I do this with my warrior and let him kill the mob with freestyling and proc. Very high dex kobold warrior. Seen him kill 4 yellows at the same time and hardly ever needing to style - level 48 and full shield . I just watch him and think about something else more constructive and informative.
