I go to Yggdra sometimes, outwitting the people who like to guard that place isn't hard. I especially like exp killing the grey cons. That's funny as hell.

Gef, I believe Halo will simply wave at you a lot. No assassin in his right mind will go in amongst a group and attack a tank. Instead, he will attack your casters and run away with you cursing while you try to catch him. Not only that, but should you go running along a road oneday, do not be surprised if all of a sudden you find yourself with a perforated artery, diseased, bleeding, and poisoned. Many, many tanks have died this way.

Remember, they don't have to kill you in combat. A critical strike and poison will severly injure you. He can run away, hide, and re apply his poison, coming back to finish you off as soon as the poison runs its course...if it hasn't already killed you.

I respect wise assassins, those that are careless, I kill.

One good whacking from my enchanted 95% quality fine alloy greatsword will have that pitiful armor in shreds, and you on your knees. One chance thats all I need ... bring it on treeboy.

I don't think my Dark Shod Staff will feel nice either... I think I will request a 95-99% staff from someone, wouldn't cost much either being so low-level... then enchant and see how the bark flies off hibs.

Accept that you are crap at what you do, you wish you where me and that your life lacks something.

I would like to see you two attempt anything even remotely dangerous to me. One, you will never see me and two, I'm quite happy to spend all night following you around waiting for you to leave your group for even a split second.

weird... never saw any greycons there actually... most who exp there are 20-35...

There are some, occasionally people like to powerlevel their low level friends there. Most are blue/yellow/orange con to me though.

Well, herein lies the problem. You need that one chance don't you? I have heard this very line from many a fighter, and yes, some do get that one chance.

This brings up another thought. I stated recently that I am like a watchdog, and I am, I can stop assassins getting away, but I ask that those of Albion learn how to deal with assassins once I delay their escape. A scenario if you would:

There I am, running around everyone camping the Midgard Portal Keep when all of a sudden, a Shadowblade strikes one of our mages at the rear and kills him instantly - he was, after all, sitting. I spot the assassin making a run for it, but I have speed, and I chase him, I use my two DD shouts and follow up with my stun. This generally lets me get right up close and personal for my combo style. Most assassins (and hunters - speed boost) will still try to get away at this point, being over 60/70% health. This is where I need your help, my fellow Albions, for though we are in the heat of battle, I need your help in keeping a cool head.

Hunters will use their speed, assassins will try to sprint. I /stick to them, and switch to my flute, to mezz. Now, mezz cannot be cast on a person again till one minute has lapsed. So, what do I ask? I ask that the first person to the assassin/hunter refrain from striking a blow, for that would release him/her. I ask rather, that you would wait, but a second or two (for the mezz lasts 20+ seconds) for others to close in, that the kill may be certain.

I have had a few (no more than four) hunters/assassins escape to the safety of stealth or their keeps because of an over eager tank wanting to "get that one chance". This lesson ties directly into being patient in combat with multiple creatures. Please, I beg of you, learn them both.

Good point rolith but for example on blow to a hunter from basically any 2h melee'er like my friar takes them down to let's say 2/3 health or MAYBE half and usually my end is enough to run and continue my combo... plus with saints vigor I may use power as end aswell giving me even more :eek:

I'm not going to bother answering any more Mitsu posts. I've given him many hints but he still doesn't seem to get it.

Some people are just stupid. I feel sorry for you Mitsu. Everybody else except a few have realised my little scheme and have stopped posting out of embarresment.

You really need to look at my posts, look at them very carefully, look at them again.....you see it now?

By the way, being level 38 doesn't mean shit to me, stop pretending to be some kind of top level know-it-all. My main was level 38 a looonnggg time ago and it doesn't mean I'm better than anybody because of it.

It just means I can have some fun at your expense. I am fully enjoying this game probably a LOT more than many of you at the moment. I'm laughing my ass off every few minutes sat here in my office. This whole thing has breathed new life into DAoC for me.

You honestly thought I am like this in real life? I mean, come on, it's called roleplay dumbass. I'm actually a really nice guy who just happens to have played this game a long time who wanted a change from his usual nice personna.

But oh no, instead of the posts I had fun reading, written by people who where intelligent enough to see through this and roleplay back, you and a few others took major offence. This tells me you don't have any brains or a sense of humour.

This is a roleplying game, I discovered yesterday why people don't roleplay. It's because of people like Perplexed.....

I roleplay a bad guy and I get called in that bullshit '133T' language.

And that ladies and gentlemen is the saddest part of it all..........

Mm... just that well, there is separate board for in-character discussion and I have a feeling some do not quite grasp RPing in here... like me for the first post or two.

I would have kept Roleplay to that particular board but once I was like you.

In the general discussion area I made some out of character comments about a wedding being planned. My post got deleted and the reason was that this was a roleplay game, even though I had made my comments in the general discussion section.

At this I figured that I have permission to roleplay wherever I want. It makes a nice change from GOA flames, SFXman's god awful (and boring) comments on every subject.

This is a roleplay game and I'm going to play it however I want to.

So back to my Nightshade personna......

SFXMan, kr0n, you guys can kiss my elf ass. I'd put you on my list but I want a challenge to be honest. You guys are nothing to anybody, the only reason you're well known is because of this place and not your skills in the battlefield.

I'll look forward to seeing you both very soon..........

tbh with you Halo, I keep my "playing" in-game and do not continue it here on the forums where, as you might have noticed misunderstandings may arise.
GOA Flames, I just about never do that and it really doesn't matter if someone replies to everything they see (well almost). I have plenty of time to do so during downtime etc.

How can one simple in character post spawn such a response.

I couldnt make the BG last night (well except for about 5 mins)
as some pesky invaders where trying to take our guild keep.

Im sure i will see you all in the BG's and maybe even odins gate at sometime, that will be where the true master will triumph, and laugh at your dead body.

Gef, I no longer hunt the plains of Thidranki, but while I was there, Halo struck down many, many of Albion. Yet rarely did I see him struck down. The times I killed him, was when he got careless, or shortly after he once slew Sma.

Respect your enemy, slay him as you want, but do not underestimate his skill.

The only thing worse than a Nightshade is a Nightshade who doesnt realise how puny and insignificant they are compared to the mighty Gefex. You will only realise this when I am eating your tasty elvish heart.
