Patching, 208 MB.

Just 3 hours so far, let's hope for an enjoyable day and weekend with friends online and no more of this...

Nice textbox on patcher:

Warhammer online head start
-cut
My thanks go out to every one of you who read this
letter for choosing to be a guest in our world and for
pre ordering the game.

Guess their emergency fix was treat everyone as pre-orderers :)

Actually impressed with 200-250kb/s, DAoC patchdays peaked at 5kb/s

Their announcements window pops up IE, which is annoying.
It should open your preferred browser.

Maybe we update the DVD-version while they update the beta-client?

I'm picking a server with the most people on because I don't want to be noob on my own.

worst choice possible.

picking the server with the biggest population means you will probably spend more time in a queue before you can start playing than that you will actually be able to play.

update

We are experiencing an issue where some players are reporting that they are unable to log into the game after successfully validating their licence codes. Our teams are working on this as a matter of urgency and we will keep you update of any developments. In the meantime please note that it is not necessary to re-enter your codes if you have already received the validation email.
