For some reason my w2k windows update has stopped working - it just sits there "scanning for updates" on 0% and never does anything more.

Anyone got any ideas why or how to make it work again?

Tried all of those things multiple times, windows update won't even give me access to the updates to update the updater.

Ah well fuck it, I'll just wait 'til I feel like a reinstall next :)

C:\WinNT\Downloaded Program Files <- that bugger

& try deleting "Update Class" if you open its properties it should come up as from M$ Update site.
