Vista64 \Windows\winsxs ?

Whats this folder for? It's taking up 11GB atm and is full of folders with names like "amd64_acw.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_en-us_6a97690702d9841f"

Can I just delete the whole directory?

Edit, after some googling it seems it's a bad idea to delete it. Yay for 20gb windows folders

Afaik it contains all the various versions of dlls, drivers and various shit. for compatibility issues.
I never needed that space on my hd so i didn't bothered, i would reccomend some sort of backup before wiping it in any case.
