Respect for what he did with what he had, not so much for ending life(even if i think it should be a human right to do so, but doesn't remove lack of respect for doing it), and that's all i'm saying on it. Not getting into human rights stuff :p

This really got to me today, ever since i heard it on the news this morning. Feel so sad for the guy, such a shame

Wish that Moat hadn't shot himself, so he could be hung by his bollocks and suffer the pain and misery of what he put this poor guy through

Outcome was inevitable I guess, shame on his wife for leaving him tho.. I guess those vows she took at her wedding didnt mean fuck all in the end.

Bit harsh on her - the police were called to a domestic the other year but they didnt charge him - if he had become abusive then she didn't have much choice.

Feel for the guy.

However, Moat went on his rampage because he was suffering pain and misery after repeatedly asking for psychiatric help...

He was arrested for assault last year IIRC? If he's hitting his wife, should she stay?

No winners in this tbfh.

Fuck off Scouse.

Moat had a choice, he chose his path. PC David Rathband made no such choice.

Yes because you know the exact reason why they split, don't you?

Idiot.

the only thing i have to say is that the Prime minsiter called him brave .. but to me the act of suicide is that of a coward .. he gave in was tempted to fall etc etc ... if he was brave he would be here today

Sure he was brave int he face of the cameras .. we cant all be brave and to speak ill of the dead is wrong as we all know :p

To me he was hiding his feelings and needed help

But wasnt brave !

Really? He killed himself, remember.

Both him and Moat were feeling suicidal. Moat asked for psychiatric help and told doctors he thought he might hurt someone - and was ignored.

Rathband was visited by concerned coppers and told them he was fine and nothing was wrong.

Both are tragic.

If he was being abusive then fair enough, she should have left him, but if she left him purely because he was blinded by a pathetic chav cunt then she's cold. Either way its a shame that such a low life can ruin so many lives in so little time.

There's plenty of facebook pages for your opinions.
That waste of space lost his girlfriend because the police put him in jail, so he decides to take it out on random police officers..'it's all about me' attitude.
He destroyed that guys life, did he go on a rampage against bpuncers?
No, because he was a man, a decent human being.
Moat was a fucknut.

Thats not what happened.

Concerned about her ex getting out of prison she said she was now seeing a policeman to make him back off - it had unforseen consequences...

Of course it's tragic but re: his wife leaving him, he was arrested last year for some assault charges. Then a bit later they split, but he says the two are not connected. Who knows what that sort of life-changing (being blinded suddenly like that, not with a degenerative disease or something) event can do to a man? Privately, he might've turned into a absolutely bitter cunt who was impossible to live with. I would probably be livid with life if it happened to me.

No I don't actually but then again when someone is blinded and shortly after the wife ups and leaves what are you meant to think? its only after learning he was turning abusive I realised, instead of being a cock why don't you simply try putting the facts or is that too much to ask from someone like you?

Moat was a fuck nut, but if he was cared for by the great socialist state that we live in, the deaths could have been preventable.

I've expressed my feelings about mental health before, your loved ones usually support you the most, but when you lose them, you seem alone, and feel that everyone is against you, then you turn to extreme measures to gain that attention, even if you argue these people are beyond help, and should just be locked up, they should still be helped in order to protect the rest of society, it could be argued that some people can't be helped, but can be calmed to a certain extent.

That argument always ends up at the fundamentals of law, are you responsible for your actions?
It could easily be argued that you are at the mercy of your brain and if it decides to go on a rampage because of illness, it's not 'your' fault.
I feel quite confident that knobhead was compus mentus and just ran with his anger because he just wanted to satisfy his own pain and fuck everyone else.
Should have been beaten to death with small hammers over a week.

You're meant to think "hmmm, I don't have the first clue what went on there so perhaps I'd better keep my mouth shut if I don't want to appear like a complete idiot."

I don't buy the whole society failed him bollocks. That's an lefty excuse, the guy was doing all sorts of steroids prior to his "mental illness" that was a choice. He had a string of offences relating to violence.

Simple fact is, he was a nasty piece of work and fucked up some guys life. That guy then went on to kill himself because he couldn't carry on.

That's a crying shame.
