Michael Harriott is a total fuckwit (and a deeply racist one to boot), even by the Root's hack standards. He doesn't point out anything that hasn't already been flagged by proper journalists already, and they all have a narrative gap when it comes down to how an actual coup would be executed (the Special Forces thing is a red herring; it just puts the operational command in the same place as all the other military branches that already report to the SecDef). Trump has a military problem, because while personnel lean towards the Republican Party, they very much don't lean towards Trump himself, who has multiple strikes against him at all levels of the military from the JCS on down, not least because his attempt at postal vote suppression would have denied huge numbers of serving military a vote!

So even if he made the attempt at a coup, he couldn't execute it.

Its very easy to write everything off as tin hat because there is a lot of it around and the left has the high ground on accusation while hilariously being the masters of it themselves with endless completely undubstantiated claims from white supremacy, qanon and piss tapes to russians in the cupboards.

Of course they never post my racist or tin hat comments, its much easier to accuse and pat each other on the back while wallowing in the warmth of virtue signalling and joining in with the popular gang.

If you spend you life reciting the legacy media you will quickly come unstuck because they are not remotely informing you of a complete picture or of any context , and it really confuses me that the left has decided they are the bastions of truth and impartiality when historically they have attacked the 'man' at every turn, and that was one of their great strengths.

I disagree @fettoken. Lots of people try to engage very seriously and in good faith with @Job but 1) he refuses to answer direct questions and 2) just repeats the same old shit again and again - never looking at evidence (and never providing his own) and never, ever, changing his mind.

He really believes this. He cannot consider the fact that he might actually be a tin-foil hatter. Because with tin-foil hatters it's ingrained in their personality. I know a couple of fully-paid up swivel-eyed loons and they're lovely people, totally mad mind, but lovely. They've romanticised the idea that all of the worlds systems are run in a way that's out to get them and are inherently deceitful.

Take homeopathy - they're convinced that all of the world's medical companies won't look at homeopathic medicine, which is clearly fucking amazing, because it's a threat to their profits. They're convinced homeopathy offers answers that "mainstream medical science" refuses to look at, because it's run by evil white cunts.

The reality is, if mainstream medical science found that giving pointless sugar pills to cancer victims cured their cancer then all of the big pharm industries would have patents in for sugar, and would be major shareholders in Tate & Lyle.


What does all this mean for Freddyshouse? It means that pretty much everything @Job types is a distraction from meaningful discussion. It derails actual discussion on topics that are real - and by frustrating everyone it polarises debate and derails threads.

The shame for @Job is - that when he does actually have a point that is worthy of merit it's generally discounted out of hand because he can't articulate it properly and he can't unwrap it from all the bullshit he spouts - so the response is "oh do fuck off please".
