Update Problem

I got daoc yesterday and when i got home the CD key was in use so I brought it back and got a new version .

I got home installed the game , downloaded the first patch then all of a sudden one patch keeps timing out on 34%! Im guessing its a server problem but wondering can you guys help me

My mate has the latest daoc update on his pc but... I am unable to bring my pc to his house .. so would he be able to burn any files onto a cd or something?

well, the stopping, is prolly a updater problem. The way the updater worked the last time i checked, makes sure that you dont download files you already got. this means, that sooner or later, you will get the patch, even if it stops at 34%.

But, if this does not work, for some reason, the files can easily be copied from his puter, to a cd.
not sure if the files are allowed to be write protected, so check em out after copying from the cd.

Cant name em, but a safe way, is to simply copy all of them
