Ditch your subs and set sail. :)

Assuming you sub to one of them? If you do have concerns and still pay for the content ...

Nah, more the son of Larry Ellison being in charge of all this.

Gonna make Murdoch look small fry.

We get most of it bundled with Sky these days, I can see most of that going heavily ad funded, or additional charges.

I may well set sail soon.

Only sub we still have is netflix... and prime, though technically we get prime because of subbing to prime for faster delivery purposes rather than outright subbing for the video side of prime.

"A gold-coated statue of President Donald Trump titled the Orange Plague was put on display in the European Parliament building."

Brazil's current president trying to sue.. Somebody.. For losing the election there. Turns out he was the $cheetos favourite person to win it.

Brazil's current president is still Brazil's current president, the losing right-wing son of the previous right-wing president is the one talking about suing.

Unfortunately current president Lula and the Bolsonaros are both as corrupt as each other, just in different ways.

Still, Lula >>>>>> anyone with the surname Bolsonaro and it's a rejection of Trump and all the social media cunts (principally Musk and especially, in the shadows, Zuckerberg) who tried to sway the outcome.

Wonder how much Putin paid Elon to slow down Starlink coverage over the Ukraine.

Democrats took the Senate and House - everyone got their popcorn ready because Trumps meltdowns are going to be fucking hilarious.

The funny thing is, this might be the bullet in the back of the head for the republicans, more so than the election result itself. Trump will spend the next couple of years vetoing everything, the country won't function, which will damage the economy, democracy and the economy are what people care about.

He can... BUT! they can overwrite his veto, if two thirds of both the house and senate vote to override his veto then it passes without trumps signature.

Still not entirely sure what the Democrats will vote for. I know what they're against, so maybe restoring some of Musk's gutted government fuckwittery, but on the economy? No idea. End the Iran.war as quickly as possible?

It's be interesting to see how it pans out.

And yep, I suspect the Dems'll put forward the palatable stuff.

*popcorn* :)

First thing he did when it was clear they got battered was blame all of the republican candidates whilst saying "If I was on the ballot we would have won!"

Yup, the coming months are going to be eventful :p

Trump can VETO things the dems try to push but the dems can over ride his VETO

Dems can also legally look into his entire administrations financial dealings with their senate power

He'll be handing out pardons like they're candy
