Not only the legality of it (even saying he'll do it is illegal, *surely*) but how many times has he promised to send cheques out and then either just... hasn't (DOGE & tariff stimulus checks) or it's been struck down as stupid and illegal in the courts (that J6 reparations bullshit)?

On top of the bribes bullshit he also said the Iran war would conveniently end right after the midterms and that's the point at which the cost of gas will plummet. People who are stupid enough to still believe his nonsense deserve all the mockery in the world.

I was channel hopping on twitch last night and some channels were carrying his rally conference live. Fucking hell they are like rabid dogs with their placards and hats.

There were the usual digs at the Democrats (he made a big deal about how he changed one letter and they became Democraps or something similar), he targeted the UK but for the life of me cannot remember what it was about and there were many more.

Like @DaGaffer I have no understanding on how he is in power given his track record of being shit and lying at just about everything. Ah yes he made a comment that the whole world is looking upon the America he built and wants to copy him as they are envious, yes HE built. Fucking lol, everyone I know and mentions him laughs at him and the stupid populace who voted for him. Then came the 31 trillion in debt which is magically going to drop to its lowest level for a very long time. Of course tariffs were mentioned but surely he has to remember if he makes it too expensive to sell in America surely other markets will be looked at and developed and then what? He will plant a few money trees?

Not just him. Even the courts have now begun to question anything that comes out of the department of justice. It used to be they'd have judicial deference, in that if they said something was true, it would be taken and accepted at face value by everyone involved. They now need to prove everything to be true, and it's slowing down a lot of court proceedings.
