Odd that these figures come out on CNN only once Trump got in. ISIS by contrast has been responsible directly or claimed responsibility for over 30,000 civilians in Iraq and Syria. Kidnapped around 11,000 and injured or maimed over 40,000. US- Led strikes killing 352, considering the human shield aspects, is wrong but by contrast a drop in the ocean.

I'd be more interested to see what the casualties are for all sides.

It isn't. And it never really was. Cuba only became "communist" and forced into the Soviet sphere because the Americans put them there. "The revolution" was an agrarian land reform and anti-corruption movement, that would have been about as left wing as...France, if the Americans had left them alone. But pissed off Cubans who escaped to Florida who'd lived large on the backs of pretty much serf labour couldn't have Cubans earning decent wages and being allowed to buy property so they got their pet Gringos to do their dirty work and its driven Cuba further and further left ever since. Cuban "communism" is a giant fuck you to The Monroe Doctrine.
